"I called Mike after we discovered a leak in a window was not taken care of by installation of a new window. The project was open-ended and required investigation of the source of the leak which wouldn't be determined until the siding was removed. Mike was thorough in his investigation of the problem and up front about pricing being a bit of an unknown and gave me a minimum bid which we agreed to readily. Once the siding was removed the source of the problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed. Mike gave us documentation for the window company and advice on how to proceed. He will return to address further outdoor water damage once the rest of the windows have been replaced. Mike is honest, knowledgeable, and capable of handling issues that others couldn't even begin to address. We are grateful for his expertise and guidance and will be using him in the future."

"Bart remodeled both of our bathrooms a few years ago, so when the time came to finish our basement, we were very happy he was available for this project too. We could not be happier with the results! The basement is comfortable, functional and seems to have been always part of our living space. Bart worked with us to install a new staircase from the kitchen to the basement that efficiently used the area, (prior access had only been from the mudroom at the back), and to put a large bedroom, a playroom/family room, a bathroom and a mechanical room downstairs, which includes generous storage. They installed a Murphy Bed for us too, which was a nice touch. In addition to the quality of work, we appreciated Bart himself stopping by to check on progress and the ease of communication via text, phone or email. If there ever was a delay with permits, inclement weather, we oftentimes heard from Bart directly which was very nice. We will certainly use Barts Remodeling in the future, he has our highest recommendation!"

"Neighborhood Remodelers did a bathroom renovation for us in 2020. Mike Cooper was the project manager. They also replace all of the trim on our second floor fast forward three years later where we replaced our upstairs flooring and came to find out that Neighborhood Remodelers used 3 inch trim and elevated on the wall to act like 5 inch trim. Extremely shady. We also came to find out that they buried an electrical box even though they told us that they wouldn’t do anything like that. extremely disappointed with this company. Please think long and hard before using them."

"Stratagem created a new kitchen and two baths for our family. It was a big project, significant investment, and enormous success! It's hard to believe the transformation of each space, which was in various states of disrepair from severe to total. We worked within the existing footprint and made complete replacement of every element. The end result is functional and beautiful. We are so grateful for our new old home. I doubt many companies can handle the challenges and quirks that such an old structure (1880) brings with it so well. Every room as it was unmasked presented unwelcome surprises, such as 'remedial' plumbing, rot, etc, but Stratagem anticipated these and fixed each as they arose. The quality of the build is excellent. The crew were so hardworking, professional, and friendly. Everyone I had communications with on the administrative end were also incredibly responsive. Embarking on renovations is stressful for any homeowner, I imagine, no matter what the circumstances are, but the experience of the whole team made the process very smooth for us. Truly the best!"
