"My existing one is working fine but it's old. I told the estimator, Greg, that I just want to replace the unit due to age. I do have a tight installation that does not meet all the mfr requirments, but the old one has worked fine since the 80s. I told him that if direct replacement wasn't possible I would leave the existing one in as it works fine. So Greg told me he couldn't make one fit, and then spent over two hours estimating a complete new system.... that I initially told him I wasn't going to buy and wasting 2 hours of his and my time. So it begs the questiong... Was he trying to sell me something I didn't want... or need. Maybe not. I must say, Greg was very nice and professional... but not a good listener."

"We were very pleased with the quick response, detailed information, professional and courteous staff at all levels. Our old furnace died in November on a Friday. Other businesses couldn't get anyone out to repair and replace it for 2-3 weeks. Ranger had it replaced on Monday for us. This week our electronic air filter quit working. Again we had a quick response with a simple fix at no charge. All of our questions were answered fully and information given about the latest models but with no pressure to buy. We will absolutely use Ranger again and refer our friends and family to them."

He carefully reviewed our system and step by step eliminated potential causes of the no-heat condition. He pleasantly and efficiently found and fixed the problem. Was very careful to keep the work area clean and was respectful of our home. Thorough description of what he was finding and even sent pictures of the condition after the job. Gave us tips for future maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service, technically very savvy and efficient and pleasant to work with."

He pointed out that our furnace filter had not been changed since 2022. Big oversight by me. Matt explained how the air flows through the furnace and the direction the filter needs to be placed. I marked with a sharpie on the furnace an arrow so I would remember next time. Positive experience."
