"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

The lady on the phone was very friendly and gave me all the information and then gave me an estimate. All I had to do was measure my doorway. They were able to schedule the installation within 2 weeks. The 2 installers were very professional and got right to work. They showed me how to use it and made an adjustment when I pointed something out. I haven't had any problems and I was very happy with the product. It was a pricey thing but I couldn't find a competitor."
