"Louie did a fantastic job on remodeling our bathroom! He came to provide us with a free estimate and spoke with us about what we needed/wanted. He got back to us promptly with an estimate and a time frame of when he would be able to do the job. Louie did all the work himself and he was prompt, reliable, trustworthy, personable, and great at his job! Before beginning the job, Louie provided us with a clear time line of what he expected to be completed each day and he was always right on schedule. He replaced sheetrock on the walls, he installed a new medicine cabinet, he installed our new vanity, counter and sink, he installed our new sink faucet and shower fixtures, he replaced our floor moulding and trim, and he did a beautiful job tiling our bath and floor! As part of the job, he will be returning to install our shower door once we have our tub reglazed. It's clear that Louie takes pride in his work and he is happy when the customer is happy. We are thrilled with our remodeled bathroom thanks to Louie's amazing work! We will be calling Louie again for future jobs and we would certainly highly recommend him to others!"

"Overall we are very satisfied with VPQC. 
This work was done on our vacation co-op unit in Montauk NY.
This contractor was recommended by other owners in our co-op, and we had seen the quality of previous work they did.
We had tried to get other quotes for this job, but could not get responses from other contractors, even ones that were local.
I rated them with "A" for everything except price, and that is only because we could not obtain any other quotes.
When discussing the work to be done, I found that the contractor totally seemed to understand our needs. We wanted quality, but also did not want to use very high-end counter tops and cabinets since this is a rental unit, and damage can be expected. What we got was very good quality that should last for years. Another example of how well he understood us was the new closet work. Normally I would have liked to have drawn a plan of what I wanted. Lacking the time to do a detailed drawing, I just described over the phone what I envisioned. The resulting closet was exactly what I wanted.
We had great communication via phone and email. 
 The resulting sheet rock work and painting is top notch. The transformation of this unit is amazing
Of course, there is always some little problem on a project like this. We had a little problem regarding the refrigerator size and another problem with the supplier of the of the dishwasher.
Because we live 3-4 hours away from this site, it was very important that we have someone we could trust to do the job right, without having to inspect the work in progress. In the end, we only went out to see the work at the very end of the job, and were very satisfied. We met Vinny Pacheco, the principle in this firm, and are very happy to recommend him and VPQC to anyone who needs quality work from someone you can trust.

"Dan Bolger and his team from Island Homecraft provided a very high quality product at a fair price. We were impressed with Dan from the time we met with him, and could tell that that he was highly experienced in his work and straightforward. Dan and his team were highly reliable, appropriately efficient, quite responsive and they communicated well. Their craftsmanship was very strong. Keith the Carpenter was just amazing from framing and leveling, to vent duct installation, cabinet installation and completing final touches to make it all look perfect. Dan also has a great group of subcontractors he works with. Shamus the electrician did an amazing job installing our new lighting. There were so many pieces to juggle, and Steve the project manager kept the project moving along, always keeping us informed as to what to expect. They were also clean, cleaning up each day before leaving. Overall, we have only positive things to say and have no hesitation recommending Island Homecraft."
