"Two days before Thanksgiving I smell gas, call the gas company, they came and removed the meter because there was a crack in the gas line, I call this company they came out and after reviewing the situation ,cost, was very expensive I decided to get a second opinion and that's when Mr Ruben comes in, he was one of the plumbers I call from Angie's list, I called him immediately ,( the same day ) he came out about 3 hours later, and he quoted me a third of the price for the same situation. He did the work the same evening, and after running a gas test everything appeared to be fine and now I'm waiting for the city to come back out to bring me my meter, just in time for Thanksgiving holiday. Ruben not only solved my problem he was very detailed, professional, reasonable, and genuinely concerned that my meter be replaced before the next day, which was Thanksgiving, his work was knowledgeable, efficient ,fast, pride himself on his work , he went straight to the problem and the problem was solved , definitely a master of his trade, takeing pride in his work. "Called at 8 am Saturday and on call plumber said he had a scheduled appointment but would be able to make the repair Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival he removed the insulation and found that the pipe had separated at the connector. JD Plumbing had repaired the pipe in January 2018 after the pipe froze and burst. The plumber, Sean, pointed out that the repair they made had separated but said since it was past the one year warranty he would need to call his manager to see what could be done on price. Sean made he call, sent a picture of the broken pipe and, after a second discussion, advised that the repair (normally $399) would be made at no charge even though we were past their warranty. Just wish he had tried to isolate the leak as being in the house or in the pipe coming into the house from the meter. Ended up just replacing the main pipe to the house first. Then found the problem was inside the house."
