Gate Logic's President Shanna provided two quotes, one to replace the existing sensor with the same type and another to replace it with a more robust version. I chose the latter more expensive quote, but I still see it as a very good deal. Gate Logic Security worked very well in coordination with Hand H Asphalt Paving, who I recommend as well. "Ron Benson and his small team did a great job stepping in for us when the fence contractor we had been working with suddenly disappeared.  Ron came recommended by our landscaper (J&G Landscaping, see separate review) and was very helpful in working with us to schedule the work, since we had multiple projects that were going on and needed to happen in order. <br /> Ron is a nice guy, knows fences, is easy to work with, and reliable.  His price quote for a nice fence like this (7-foot board-on-board cedar fence, including a 1-foot lattice) wasn't cheap, but it was competitive, and he was able to offer us several options to meet our expectations.  The fence turned out really well, so I feel like we got good value for our money, and there was no hassle involved. <br /> We had a couple minor issues with the work (as there will be with any big job) but Ron made sure that his guys got out to take care of things.  (Fixing a gate handle that came loose, drilling a hole in the gate post for the latch.)  Overall, we were very satisfied, and I've recommended Ron to a few other friends who have been looking for a fencing contractor. <br />"

"They were always very responsive and flexible, and were here and working every single day for the entire lengthy job. That's almost unheard of. It was easy to make changes and to discuss things with both the on-site foreman and the owner. Everything was handled professionally. On some days they voluntarily stayed late to finish whatever they were working on. They always hung huge "room dividing" plastic sheets when they were doing dusty things like removing bathroom tile or significant wallboard work. Whenever there were problems, and there were few, they were taken care of quickly. Whenever something came up, such as when I realized 4 of the toilets they installed that I had chosen based on a magazine review performed terribly, they had no problem taking them out and installing a different model of my choice without delay. Another thing they did that's rare is after all the work was done and paid for, the continued to respond to questions and requests for minor tweaks or changes quickly. They disposed of trash and whatever else without ever being asked. I can't say enough about the quality of this company. The only possible "negative" was the price. Though not unreasonable, it was certainly not low. Like with any contractor, if you add more things for them to do the price goes up. You get what you pay for. If you want a great company to work with, this is it."
