"As usual, it was a wonderful experience! Frank and the guys stayed in touch throughout the whole process. It was tricky because the work was done at a rental property. We had to get our tenants to move all the furniture from upstairs to downstairs or outside. We also had to keep them off the floors and stairs while the poly dried. Frank was wonderful, working his crews around our schedules to minimize disruption to our tenants. AMS crews helped replace the furniture, then all the downstairs stuff had to go in the garage while he put in carpet. I felt Frank did an excellent job in balancing our desire for quality work, but still understanding that this was a rental property, not our own home.
The floors look incredible. The stairs are a real treat. Rental properties take a beating and we were planning to recarpet the whole house. When Frank came out to measure, he discovered hardwood flooring under the carpet upstairs. Bingo!! We will not have to recarpet again!! The price was very reasonable and I am thrilled that he discoverd the hidden jem of hardwood!

"CRS Painting has just finished a job for us, and we are really impressed! We live in Virginia, but own a condominium in the Gaithersburg, MD area, which has recently become vacant. It needed a lot of work, and I found CRS Painting on Angie's list; I had no other recommendations for this company. I made an appointment to discuss this project with Gerardo Lopez, who is the company owner and manager of projects at CRS. We were immediately impressed with Mr. Lopez . My husband and I needed to travel to Gaithersburg to meet him; he arrived exactly as scheduled, discussed the requirements of the job thoroughly, made several helpful suggestions, and forwarded a proposal to us via email within a few hours. We hired CRS on the basis of our first meeting, the proposal, and the Angie's List evaluations. In addition to painting all walls and all trim in the condominium, we contracted to have the bathroom toilet, flooring, and sub-flooring removed in order to correct the affects of a slow leak. We contracted to have new sub-flooring and flooring, along with re-installation of the toilet. The job is now complete. During the process Mr. Lopez called me several times to inform me of his schedule and to discuss the project. I told him we needed additional smoke alarms; he said he would purchase and install them. He recommended additional caulking; we appreciated his interest in the project and willingness to make recommendations and complete the work. He also arranged for a cleaning crew to come in to complete the job and prepare the condo for its new tenants. He was very careful to inform me of the work schedule and to meet me on-site when necessary. He was responsive to calls; I usually reached him immediately. I visited the completed work-site today and was very impressed-- the condo looks wonderful! Mr. Lopez helped me with selection of wall color and it suits the space very well. He and his crew have done a fine job; we are happy to recommend CRS Painting."

"The order was placed on 4/15. I received an email notice asking me to call, so I called them the next evening and had to leave a message. I saw that they don’t do business on Friday or Saturday, but then they called me on Saturday. I called them back that evening and it went to voicemail. I received a call from them a few minutes ago, but I will not be using them since I had difficulties getting the service scheduled."
