He removed the old opener, installed the new one, changed out the door button, installed an outdoor key pad opener, adjusted the springs, lubricated all the moving parts and reprogrammed my car opener. The new one has a back up battery which is great since I've had several electrical outages where I could't get my car out of the garage since I'm not strong enough to manually lift and close the door.
