"Great service and good company.
After spooking to this company, I decided to schedule an appointment to come over and check my air ducts.
The technician (Juan) came over the following day and he was able to test and check the air ducts at my house.
He went up to the attic and worked there for like an hour checking everything. He explained to me that he couldn't see any problem and all it need is a cleaning which was included in his inspection. I appreciated his honesty and work.

"We were buying our very first home and stressed out! We didnâ t know what we didnâ t know, you know what I mean? I was drinking from a fire hose trying to figure out what needed to be done. Enter Pacific Environmental Group! They are a local, privately owned, owner operated outfit here in Orange County. Over the years, I have come to love and appreciate working with the actual business owner. With so many of these big box or publicly-traded companies it looks and feels professional but their customer service might be lacking because I am just one more tiny customer. I am small fish in an ocean of clients. Pacific Environmental Group was timely, hands on, personal and followed through on their promises. Actually, if I am remembering correctly I think they were early! So they are that classic axiom of â under promise and over deliverâ ! In summary, they do fantastic work, I love meeting the owner/operator of a locally owned business and experiencing true-blue customer service!! Please give them a try, you wonâ t be disappointed!!"

"My friends had installed a new HVAC system and they told me that the system improved the monthly utilities bills and the house is always warm. I contacted the company that made the installation and I spoke to Ezra. Ezra provide me with some basic information about them and about the system that they installed at my friend’s house and he asked me to pass by and look at my house in order to determine what will be the best system for my house. Ezra arrived to my house and checked the existing system and he explained to me the differences between that one to the new one. I decided to hire them and to go for the system. Before the installation, Ezra came over and did a special test that took close to 4 hours. He covered all the windows and ducts and ran a special machine that supposed to check and detect any leaks of energy. The end results of the test came out good and this was a good relief. The installation of the HAVC system went smoothly and without any issues. The work took 2 days and the new system start to prove itself. I must admit that I’m happy that I was referred to this company and that I hired them for this work.

FAQs for asbestos testing projects in Ladera Ranch, CA

Asbestos appears as long, thin, or curled mineral fibers that are not visible to the naked eye under normal conditions. Homes constructed before 1989 are more likely to contain this material, so a professional inspection is essential. Because asbestos identification requires specialized techniques, having a certified inspector assess your property is the safest way to confirm its presence and protect your family’s health.

Free asbestos testing services do not exist. You can purchase testing kits online for $30 per unit, and these kits include lab fees, return shipping, consultation, sampling media, and the final results. The results from a kit are less detailed and accurate than those provided by a certified asbestos testing professional. Since collecting a sample exposes you to harmful fibers, hiring a professional is essential to ensure safety and accurate testing.

Receiving asbestos test results takes one to seven days, but different labs offer varying turnaround times. When expedited processing is arranged, the laboratory completes analysis within 24 hours; standard processing requires up to two weeks. Hiring a certified professional ensures that all samples are collected correctly and results are provided without delay, safeguarding your home throughout the process.

Home insurance doesn't often cover asbestos testing and removal. Many policies have a clause called a "pollution exclusion," which means they do not cover indoor pollutants like asbestos. However, your insurance company might cover something like asbestos siding removal costs if it is released due to things beyond your control, such as storm damage.

If a DIY project or accident in your home releases harmful fibers, you must pay for the test and removal.

Yes, you can legally inspect and remove asbestos in your house as long as it's a single-family home and not a multi-family unit. However, the EPA strongly recommends hiring an asbestos abatement pro since testing can be dangerous.

Pros have all the right tools and safety equipment, and you risk breathing in the fibers by taking samples yourself. They also know how to collect samples and safely dispose of materials properly.

Asbestos encapsulation is a process that seals asbestos-containing materials with a protective barrier to prevent the release of harmful fibers. It serves as an alternative to complete removal when full abatement is not necessary. Encapsulation costs between $2 and $6 per square foot, offering a cost-effective option that contains asbestos safely when applied by a certified professional.
