"It went really well. They were able to get us in earlier than we had anticipated. They were prompt and worked hard. Our roof was replaced in just one day. Cleanup afterward wasn't exceptional, but the overall was still excellent.

"It went great. My house was on the market at that time and I needed my roof fixed right away. I got estimates and he came in with the best price. He said that he would be able to get to it the following week, which he did and that was one of the things that stood out to me. The other thing that stood out was that he called me and I didn't know he was at the house at that time. He asked me if I wanted him to go ahead and switch out one of the boots on the roof because it was going to be changed. I did ask him to look at the roof and I told him that I would like him to do that. When I went by the house, there wasn't anybody there and I could tell that no one had been there to work on the roof yet. When I talked to one of my neighbors, they said that he was there two days ago. Other than the roof doesn't leak anymore, there was no evidence that he had been there. The crew completely cleaned up everything and they were in and out in an afternoon. I called them and he came out the very next day to give me an estimate and he was out three days later to fix the roof. "Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door.
