"One the three occasions I have used A Plus Appliance Repair, Gerald has been the technician sent to my house.  I'll request Gerald next time I call A Plus.  Gerald had to read the electrical schematic diagram to identify the circuit boards (two of them) that were the leading suspects in my refrig being totally dead.  He ordered two new boards and returned within about two days to install them.  Gerald told me replacing one board - the one that got wet - might fix my refrig, but the second board may have shorted out in the breakdown process and need to be replaced as well.  It turns out my refrig needed only one circuit board replaced.  Had Gerald been a dishonest man, he could have sold me two circuit boards, but he did not.  Same thing happened when he came to fix my washing machine.  The motor had stopped working in the washer.  Gerald got the motor working again and gave me several things to try to restart the motor if it stopped again.  He explained that maybe my motor was dying, but maybe not.  Now Gerald could have told me that my washer needed a new motor and made a bigger profit for his company, but he was honest. <br /> With A Plus, I also experienced quick appointment scheduling and Gerald kept all appointments within the time window. <br />"

"I decided to go with Chickasaw and called to tell Alan.  He was unable to fit the work into my schedule as it was a busy time for A/C work.  I thanked him and told him I would go with my next bid.  He called me back 5 minutes later and told me he put a crew on Saturday because he really wanted the business! As it turned out, he was there on Wednesday and Thursday to do the job and only tied up loose ends Saturday.  He has a dedicated staff which was very professional.  The job was cleanly and expertly finished and they actually left my attic cleaner than they found it! One more impressive thing happened.  During installation they found that some previous workmen had driven nails through the copper lines leading the the defunct A/C compressor. (it needed replacing anyway) New lines were required to make the system work.  I found that out as they were presenting me the bill.  NO CHARGE FOR THAT REPAIR!! <br /> <br /> If you want to work with a local businessman who stands behind his work and means what he says, you will be happy with Chickasaw.  Give Alan a call."
