"he fI called Appliance Savers Repair after getting an email about an Angie's List deal. I had not heard of the company before, but when I saw a review saying that he fixed a 4 year old LG refrigerator, I gave him a call. He answered the phone right away, and I told him at length about the problem we were having and that I had had another repairman look at it. I also told him that there have been serious problems with this model and that the other repairman and a local appliance salesman said to trash it and get a new one.
Mike felt it was worth trying to fix it.
He was able to come the very next day and spent over three hours checking everything and trying to diagnose the problem. He was willing to remove the doors to be able to get to the back of the unit, something the other repairman did not do.He admitted to being baffled, but wanted to try replacing the freezer thermistor in case that was the problem.  He returned the next day when the part arrived, but that did not fix the issue either.
I have never had an appliance repairman work so hard. He was so good about explaining what could be going on and how he was trying to fix it. The amazing thing was that refused to take any payment for his work, saying that he came to do a diagnostic on the appliance and that since he was unable to repair it, we should not be charged. This is my first experience with anyone doing business this way. I would recommend him to anyone.

"Our fridge stopped working on a Sunday and I was having a difficult time finding a place that was open. I submitted a request on Home Advisor and Mark immediately responded. Even though they were closed, he agreed to come over to fix the problem. He was very professional and made a point to keep everything clean. He thoroughly cleaned all of the coils and replaced the broken part. I will definitely be contacting them with any future appliance issues! I highly suggest you do the same!!!"

"Salesman did his homework and inspected all areas including entire attic. He listened to our needs and expectations. Explained in detail scope of work that needed to be done with detailed pricing for a/c, new duct work and electrical work. Also gave detailed information regarding procedures for rebates and timelines from GRU.
They spent one day removing the old duct work and equipment, the second day was spent installing the new duct work.
There was a one day delay in the completion because one worker was sick, however, the crew returned on the next day and completed the installation. This involved completing the connection of all the new duct work and return air lines and installing the compressor and completing the hookup and start up.
At the end of the installation we were given very thorough instruciton on the operation of the system. The project manager who supervised the project came by every day and checked on the progress of the installation. He also conveyed any concerns we had to the supervisor and everything was executed to our satisfaction. Crew was pleasant and cleaned up afterwards. We are very happy with the product.

"Went well. Technicians need to be trained to perform safety procedures for appliances maintenance checks. Making sure appliances being worked on are properly functioning and safe to use for customer. The customer should not be telling or begging technicians to perform safety checks on appliances. "Our microwave stopped heating and we called Service Engineering to repair. They came out promptly, ordered the part and returned upon receipt and fixed it. The LG repairman would not come make repairs unless we pulled the wall oven/microwave combo from wall so he could work on it. We thought that was absurd given the fact that the combined unit weighs too much for us to maneuver. Serhii and his son were able to pull the unit out, make repairs and reinstall it without any issues. Hard-working, super polite, and fair price wins our business!"
