"We had a horrible smell in our crawl space and thought we had dead mice down there and found an exterminator on Angi, but it turned out to be a sewer leak and there was sewer water down there. Drains Inc. came out right away and rodded out the sewer pipes. They were completely blocked by tree roots! Tim and his son took care of everything the same day and let us know there was black mold in our crawl space. They recommended a restoration company and they came out the same day. "The job went very well. The crew arrived on time and the job was completed the same day. They spread heavy duty tarps on the carpeted area and on the stairs, so there was no trace of broken up concrete in those areas. A high quality drainage system was professionally installed and the finish coat of concrete was very neatly done. The new concrete blends well with the existing floor. I expect to have no worries of water coming into our basement during future rainstorms."

"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

"The estimator (Kaz) was prompt, informative, and responsive to my many queries before I signed a contract. The project manager and workers were all very prompt, professional, and courteous. They were respectful of our property and that of our neighbors, taking off their shoes when inside and cleaning up their work. I asked them to run an additional line from one of my downspouts, which was done without incident. We also worked together to problem solve an issue related to the sump discharge line. On day 1, they cut our buried cable line because it was marked incorrectly. However, the foreman called the company and it was resolved/fixed within a few hours (it has taken more than a day in the past when I’ve called!). I was quite surprised at how they cleaned up after excavating for the 6 inch drainage pipes. They estimated 5 days to complete the work and finished in 3 days. While I was not excited to spend that much to fix the problem, we knew we needed to address the improper drainage. Additionally, while I feel that I know what needed to be done and probably could have done so myself for less money, it would have taken me 3 months, not 3 days with my schedule. Overall, I’ve been pleased with the work and may have them come back and address an additional drainage issue in our yard in the future."

"I was really pleased with the guys that did the work on my crawl space, they explained things very thoroughly. What they fixed did fix the problem with the center beam in the house, but did not fix the wall/floor separation of the laundry/furnace/utility room. I was kind of bummed that the 5500.00 we spent didn’t fix the problem. When the guys explained why it didn’t fix the problem and what needed to be done I felt better about the extra 1100.00 expense. Both times they came out they were very friendly and explained exactly what they were doing and seeing the photos of the work they were doing was very helpful seeing what they were doing. You have a great group of guys working for you from the sales guys to the installation techs."
