"McDonough's is my go-to for any drain problems!  The guys who came were very professional, helpful and all around great.  They worked a tough clog out of the drain line coming from the laundry room, then checked the main sewer line from the house and did some preventative clearing on some roots (the house has a history of roots clogging the main line and McDonough's has cleared it twice already, which the guys knew so they checked while they were already there and had the equipment ready).  The work was well done, they replaced some aging parts proactively, and they cleaned everything up like they had never been there.  Fantastic! <br />"

"They inserted their drain reaming device and it went in an unexpected direction.  They explained that this was a drain that had been installed incorrectly, so that it would drain into the master floor drain.  However there was almost no drop between the spare drain and the master drain, so water could not flow.  I didn't know about the existence of the master drain, because it was hidden under the washing machine.   We decided that I should rely on the master drain and not use the spare drain.  They gave me a small discount.  Throughout, they were courteous, professional, and explained things clearly.  This is my second experience with Stoi's and I recommend them highly. <br />"

"We asked Capra's to stay off hard surfaces because we didn't want the back hoe to damage the driveway. To avoid the driveway John needed to drive the back hoe up a steep hill. It was more difficult to do this than going up the driveway, and John did it without complaint. Mike Capra did the original estimate and correctly diagnosed the problem from my description over the phone. When he came to prepare the estimate, he verified his diagnosis by opening the clean-out. We asked Mike to fix the problem as soon as possible. Even though he was booking jobs 2 months out he was able to accommodate us 2 days later. While pulling out a broken pipe another pipe broke off. Mike immediately came out, discussed the problem with John and Nick, and determined the best way to proceed. This doubled the amount of work they needed to do. It was late in the day and neither John or Nick complained about staying late. During their repair they moved the clean-out from the inside of the house to the outside. The clean-out was originally located in the finished part of the basement. Even though the man hours required to do the job almost doubled, Mike stood by his original estimate. John and Nick were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and worked well as a team. We would rate them more than an "A" if we could!"

"<p>After arriving as schedule I explained the issues that were occurring and he assessed the problem which I agreed with since I had already tried what I could with what was available for the general consumer. He uncapped the drain cap, turned the water on until it backed up in the floor drain then shut it off and proceeded with the claw auger on the snake to 100' which unclogged the drain somewhere along the way, he then ran the double sided auger blade that is about the size of the pipe again 100' to insure that it would be clear. We then filled the bathtub half way, basement sink, bathroom sinks and let them all drain at once, we also flushed all toilets mind you all at the same time to insure that the pipe was clear (it better be) and to flush the drain completely.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Needless to say it was clear with no back up with the amount of water that was running down all drains. It was the best $168.00 I has spent in a long time! As a home owner you would understand this when you have been trying to do this yourself for about 2-3 weeks with out success.</p> <br />"
