"Ronald did an excellent job on my sewer drain and clean out. He replaced all the cap and made sure the pipes and plumbing was working properly. He also gave me some tips on water drainage for my backyard. I will hire him again!"

"Well, for starters, they forgot to come on the correct day.  I waited during their two-hour window until almost 2:00, then called and asked if they were coming soon.  Jay said that my appointment was the next day, to which I replied that it indeed was this day,  He looked at his schedule and said "oh gosh, it was today, wasn't it?", or something to that effect, I asked if he was still going to come and he said he couldn't because they were on an all-day job.  I asked if they could come the next day, which they said they would. My husband had taken the first day off, and now he was going to have to take another day off.  We were not very happy, but agreed that they could come do the work the next day,
When they arrived the next day, they fixed the leaks, both upstairs and downstairs, which was not very difficult, as the pipes were already exposed; they didn't have to break into the wall at all--we had already done that.  All they had to do was cut the pipe and solder the connections.  It didn't take them very long at all.  But they charged us $187. This wouldn't have been so bad, but they didn't clean up after themselves at all.  They left all the metal shavings and solder on the floor and didn't clean it up,  They were very interested in talking to us about re-plumbing our house, which was okay, but seemed more eager to do that work, rather than the work I hired them to do.   As a matter of fact, one of the first things Jay said to us was that if we were going to replace the plumbing. why not wait and fix the pipes at that time.  We had two leaks that really needed fixing and the re-plumbing job was something we were only considering.  He gave us an estimate, which we said we would think about.
In general, they were just okay, their prices seemed high and they didn't clean up after themselves. AND they didn't show up on the day THEY had scheduled to come do the work.  I was not happy about waiting for them for two hours, only to find out they goofed and had the wrong day and that he seemed rather nonchalant about the whole thing. I definitely will not use them to do the re-plumbing job, and can't in good conscience recommend them,

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Lamar, MS

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
