"I got 3 bids on this project. Chris was far and away the most knowledgeable on this kind of watering system. He used a Rain Bird RWS Root Watering System with four 36-in. Tubes and a 0.5 GPM Bubbler for the largest tree (about 16 inches in diameter) and four 18-in. Tubes and a 0.25 GPM Bubbler for each of the 2 smaller trees (about 12 inches in diameter). He minimized the damage to tree roots by using a Flex tubing nearer the trees after using PVC to reach the area. He was punctual, efficient and careful on the project, replacing sod he removed to minimize the impacts of digging. He took time to explain the details of how the system worked, including planning the sizing of the Bubbler watering rates0. I was confident from my initial conversation with him that he was someone who knew what he was doing and honest in his dealings.
