"Dennis and his crew did an excellent job, but I feel he overcharged me a bit for the chimney cap installation. The cost of installing a chimney cap in the Tampa Bay area runs from $175.00 to $250.00. Dennis charged me $250.00 to install a $40.00 chimney cap. When I asked Dennis why the installation cost was at the top of the price range, he said: There are fees associated with running the operation: shipping, consumables, labor, transportation, fuel, payroll, and the list goes on. My price is right in line with the chimney sweeps in the area. His crew certainly knew what they were doing, and I would probably use his services again. My only objection is that the cost of installing the chimney cap was at the top of the high range for that job. Dennis could have chosen to install a more expensive chimney cap for what he charged me."

Since these birds are federally protected, we had to wait until the birds vacated before work was done. Kevin even installed a glass door for us at no charge. He left my house immaculate. "Everything went great! The project took about 2 weeks. The old tar/gravel roof was removed and a new metal roof was installed on 3/4 of the house. The other 1/4 required TPO since it was a completely flat area. A lot of the old wood had to be replaced due to the age and termite activity. Flashing up around the chimney is holding up great and a part of my old rainwater collection gutter system was even reinstalled on the new roof. The fascia and soffit looks great too. We've been through 5-6 rain storms already and there has been no leaks. The wood around the garage was replaced and then the whole thing was wrapped in vinyl for a clean look. Two end features on the peak of the house were wrapped as well and it made the house look very clean and neat. As for cleanup, for the most part all went well. As can be expected, a few old roofing nails were found, but not that many. A few short pieces of metal roofing and a few leftover panels were left behind as well as a bag of screws. (We made a shed with them) Overall we were very satisfied. Other roofing companies we called were quoting us $18-20K without the addition of the extra wood and the cost of the fascia/soffit or the garage repair."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

I needed to replace the old blown in fiberglass insulation in my attic which had been damaged by rodents. After researching products to replace it, I decided to use TAP insulation, a natural  recycled paper product with built in repellant characteristics. I received several quotes from national companies that that do this kind of remediation and decided to go with Critter Control. These guys are wonderful. The representative Johnny arrived punctually, surveyed my area and provided me with a written, all inclusive estimate. This estimate covered removal, sanitizing, installation of TAP and permanent repair of the points of entry. On the service date a crew of 3 arrived with their equipment and started immediately. Delicate equipment was covered up in my garage to prevent damage, these guys came prepared.  During the process I was able to survey how the job was going and the technicians were very helpful in pointing out areas that had been damaged like wiring and duct work. Johnny did a great job sealing the points of entry, which are hardly noticeable at all.  The project took about 6 hours start to finish and my attic is now insulated cozy R30 and their is a noticeable difference in the outside noise that has been greatly reduced and the comfort of the home. The owner, Ward, contacted me several times regarding this project, including a follow up call to make sure it all went well. He even stopped by during the job to make sure everything was going ok. Special kudo's to Johnny, John and Charles the crew who did the job professionally and quickly. This is a very messy job and one that I would not recommend for a DIY project. It is worth every penny to have it done professionally by Critter Control. I also want to mention Jennifer and Christine in the office staff who followed up on providing me with some technical information and were always courteous and professional on the telephone Everything was cleaned up before the crew left and I could not have been more satisfied.
