"I’m back again to write another stellar review for GAC. Last year they replaced our HVAC system; this year we circled back and had them install a home generator. This was a long and drawn out process due to the various approvals needed from Montgomery County as well as coordination with Washington Gas (which ended up not just being a simple sign off but necessitating an additional, expensive upgrade to the gas line from the street to our home). Nevertheless, GAC did a fantastic job shepherding this process over the 6+ months of waiting on stakeholders, and they were also maximally accommodating to our family’s significant constraints on time and availability (due to health concerns related to a medically fragile family member). A special kudos to Sandy M, GAC’s master electrician, who took it on personally to ensure we were taken care of all throughout this process, going above and beyond with phone calls, text messages, personal visits, etc. on behalf of my family, I want to thank GAC and am giving top marks across the board for this effort which was complex , lengthy, and ultimately successful."

"Grove Heating & Cooling came to the rescue 5/17 after another local company couldn't complete the job. We needed our heat pump/compressor moved for the installation of a patio then reconnected. The "other" company disconnected then couldn't schedule to finish even after giving them a months notice ahead of time. We found Grove and gave them a call. It was after hours and the on-call tech returned the call. He wasn't able to come out that night but made sure to call to schedule the very next morning. By noon we had service to reconnect the heat pump and 3 hours later we were up and running. Everyone at Grove were so responsive and went out of their way to make sure we felt like a priority. You can really tell why they have been in business as long as they have been with how well they treat their customers on top of being technically proficient. Our family is now a super fan and advocate for Grove. Highly Recommended! Mike"

"Furnace stopped Saturday night. Called No-Frost Sunday and they came out and diagnosed the problem quickly (heater core failed after 25+ years). We got another bid (off Angie's List) on Monday. After comparing, we ordered the new Carrier system Tuesday and had it installed on Thursday. They removed all traces of the old system and installed the new system as promised. They were professional, courteous and prompt."

"Very positive experience!  After three other plumbing estimates, found Heil doing the same job in another part of my community.  I was able to check out their work first hand.  They came by after working all day on a job to give me an estimate on mine.  Joseph was confident and knowledgeable.  He and Robert answered all of my questions with care.  I appreciated their sincerity and time.  They did not rush me or disregard my inquiries. 
The quote was thorough and timely.  The follow through was exactly as discussed and expected.  I worked with Tim to finalize details of my repair estimate, including comparing all elements of the contract with that of other plumbers that priced my job.  When I expressed concern regarding duration of warranty, he discussed with the company owner and was able to align on parity in parts/labor warranty.  I also spoke with Laurie, and she was knowledgeable and considerate in addressing my questions/concerns.
It was necessary to wait for an install appointment, but it is what it is...business is good for them!  I was agreeable to waiting because I felt 100% comfortable in my decision to commit the work to them.  Tim was able to move my install date up one day to accommodate an out of town situation...which I appreciated.
On the day of the repair, greeting the crew leads at 8AM was a welcomed sight!  Joseph, Robert, and two other workers arrived on time and got to work.  They were conscientious, neat, and took pride in their work.  Drop cloths were laid, buckets were used to contain concrete jack-hammered from my foundation floor, and plywood was layed to hold dirt and sod displaced.  Time was spent hand-digging around so many utility lines, it looked like spaghetti.  I was nervous my neighbor's services may be impacted by a cut line, but there was no issue.
This group of four men worked together well.  They seemed to have a rapport, enjoyed each other's company, and they treated each other with respect.  There was definitely a sense of teamwork and I liked seeing that.
The new line was  confidently pulled through tunnel of existing line, and work was finished by 220PM.  No major yard trenching!  Yeah!
Crew even returned a short time later in response to my panicky call to the office for concern of hearing water running in my house.  I quickly discovered it was a leaking toilet...likely a result of a warped rubber gasket after sitting with no water for a while.
I was embarrassed, but Robert was good natured and understanding :-)
It's not often I can say spending thousands of dollars on an unplanned repair was a positive experience...but in this case, it was. 
I went with my gut, read up on reviews, saw their work first hand on another job, and am pleased with their work in my own home.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family...and I plan to use them again for a small plumbing job on my shower.

"I called Buric (on advice of friend/neighbor) when A/C wasn't working and I asked what to expect in their charges. The guy on the phone told me they charge a flat $95 (or $99?) for driving out here. So I asked if they charge by the hour or half hour. No, he said, by the job. He couldn't give me an estimate because he didn't know what was wrong. So, a technician came out and diagnosed my unit (which blew air but didn't get cold) as old & dead and needing replacement. So, in my mind, there was really there was no job outside of replacement. In their mind, they did a job by taking 10 minutes to look at the unit and tell me there was nothing to be done for it. So, instead of charging me $99 for coming out, they charged me $230 for coming out AND telling me the unit couldn't be fixed. That irritated me. Then I asked for a bid for new system. The guy went out and talked on the phone to his boss and come back with a written bid. I later compared it with my second bid from another co. Buric's bid was higher than the company I selected, but not enough to sway me if I had liked their way of doing business. However, the previous (over)charge, which was not explained by the guy I spoke to when I first called, left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn't go with them. So that extra $130 they made cost them around $5000. I hope it was worth it to them. BTW, if I had gone with them, they would have subtracted the $230 from the bid, but I just couldn't get past it. So, I am not saying anything about the quality of their work--it may be just fine, but I don't like the way they did business."

"Edmond responded right away and listened to my explanation of the issue over the phone. It was Friday afternoon and we both agreed the issue was non-urgent so we scheduled an early Monday morning visit. He showed up at 8a sharp as we agreed and he did a thorough check of our AC system. Edmond is very knowledgeable and he explained everything thoroughly. He gave me a couple of suggestions. I’m pretty handy so I’ll try to tackle it myself. He said to just call him if I get stuck and he could either come back out or coach me over the phone. Pricing is reasonable and quality of service is top-notch.
