After losing a week waiting on the manufacturer's service network and calling some of the 5-star appliance repair cos around Chandler and receiving no call back, I shopped for a service on HomeAdvisor. Manny Appliance Repair came up and I decided to go with them. I was glad I did. I got a call back within 5 mins of the service request and they slotted me for the next day. Gerald was our tech. He was professional at all times and very efficient. He gave the courtesy call notice when he was on his way. He diagnosed within 5 mins, said he had the part on hand and had an immediate price quote. I agreed and he completed the replacement within 45 mins. Based on HomeAdvisor low-ave-high price ranges for replacing a Samsung heating element, it was between the ave and high. But I readily agreed because this replace is just a bit beyond what I'm comfortable doing on my own AND MOST IMPORTANTLY because the company was super responsive and Gerald was a fantastic tech who clearly could deliver a solution for us THAT DAY. They earned it and it was worth it...especially in these trying pandemic times when services are really strained. So if you need responsive appliance service, certainly for W/D, give these guys a shot, they were good."

I mention this because it felt like they really cared. I was told my appointment time window and that I would be contacted when they were about 20 or 30 minutes away. I was contacted as they promised. Sobino, the technician arrived on time and went right to work. He told me that I could watch and he explained everything he was doing. He found the problem, then told me the price of the part (even showing me the list price of the part) and the price for the labor to install the part and to flush out the system which had caused the problem. Once finished he had me inspect the work. Sabino is a highly skilled technician, personable, professional and I would recommend - make that highly recommend him for any appliance repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."
