"We have a 1921 bathtub with a drum trap drain.  It was starting to drain very slowly.  I had other plumbers tell me that they would not attempt to clean it as it would probably break.  The bids I got to replace it were anywhere from $800-$1,500.  That price didn't include what it would cost to repair my dining room ceiling which they would need to access to replace the drum trap.  Ryan Sahlberg owner of Citywide Plumbing came out to give me a bid.  He said he thought that it could probably be snaked out.  He sent Marty out to do the job and he was able to snake it.  Marty was great, he was very respectful of my property and really a nice guy. "I have very mixed feelings about this firm;  I indicated I would use them again because in the end they did exceptional work and completed the work in an extremely efficient and timely manner.  I am very pleased with the actual work that was done and the faucets are wonderful.   Having said that,  I can't say the same for the overall experience - particularly with regard to  customer service issues that occurred prior to the actual call.   I set up this call 4 days ahead of time as I had one day open and needed to set up some other things around the plumbing call -- but that was my priority.   The person I spoke with told me they would call me back that afternoon with a time for the day I requested however nobody called.   I left two additional voicemails over the next 24 hours and finally got a call back telling me that the plumber would arrive between 11:00 and 12:00 on my requested day.  I was also told that someone would call me for more details on the actual work, however that never happened.  When the day came,  12:00 came and went with no plumber and no phone call.  Plumber finally arrived a bit after 12:30. A half an hour late is not a big deal but because I experienced such a lack of response from them initially I was pretty convinced that no one was going to show up at all.   My suggestion would be that Duda either expand the window for calls...or make a quick phone call when there is going to be a delay.  I believe pretty much everyone has access to mobile phones - shouldn't be a big deal."

"They warned us beforehand that such an old and corroded pipe might just disintegrate when they started messing with it to remove it, in which case we'd need to dig out into our yard and replace a large section.  However, he did a great job of carefully removing and replacing just what he needed to.  The finished work looked great...much better than the workmanship of a previous plumber we had hired to replace the shutoff valve higher up on that pipe.  He showed me his progress periodically so that I understood what he was doing, and he also cleaned up after himself.  He was here quite awhile, so although at first we wondered about the cost, once we saw the complexity of the job and the length of time it took to complete, we realized that the price was reasonable. <br />"

"The technician performed a furnace checkup.  We'd purchased a house that had been a rental property so wanted to make sure that the furnace was in good working order.  The tech. checked for gas leaks, and tested to make sure the blower was working and that no parts were malfunctioning.  He also gave me an idea of how old the furnace was and whether or not it was showing wear and tear.  <br /> He was very thorough and polite.  I sort of hovered nearby because I wanted to see what he was checking and why, and he was patient in answering my questions. <br />"
