"Charlie was awesome!!! He arrived on time, was very professional and answered all of my questions. He explained everything he was going to do prior to starting the job. Charlie was was also very neat while working and was respectful of my home. We had an issue with damaged travertine in our bathroom due to using a grout cleaner that claimed to be for natural stone, specifically travertine. It wasn’t - it damaged and stained it. Charlie honed it and resealed it. He was able to fix the problem and it turned out great, he also cleaned our ceramic tile floor in the kitchen and also recolored the grout. Lastly, he cleaned and sealed our granite counter tops and regrouted the backsplash. We highly recommend Sir Grout of Montvale and will call them for all future issues. If you are fussy and like things done correctly the first time with no drama, call them. You won’t be disappointed!"

"The marble countertop of our our master bathroom sink had been etched in areas and the finish was uneven.  Jay refinished / re-polished the countertop and it looks like the day it was installed.  He also cleaned up and resealed the tumbled marble on our shower floor, and re-grouted the area.  I wasn't expecting much as the tile had seriously faded since its installation in 2008, but Jay brought it back to looking like new as well. <br /> Jay responded to us the same day that we contacted him.  He had an opening the following day and completed the work in one visit.  To say he is prompt, professional and talented is an understatement... he clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows. <br />"

He took his time, did a very good job, was neat and pointed out slight stains on the furniture that could not be removed (sofas were older and had been in storage for months). Second experience was completely different. Two guys. In a rush. They missed stains, were rough with the cleaning, left water on the wood floor and clearly were in a rush to get somewhere else. The rugs and furniture they were asked to clean were all less than 2 years old."

"We visited the Abbey showroom and met with Glenn, who showed us a couple options and said they could absolutely install the sheet vinyl floor, AND guarantee it. Our floor was a custom order, so it took about a week to come in and schedule the install. On installation day, when they unrolled the vinyl the manufacturer (not Abbey) had the floor folded/creased on the roll, so it was damaged and could not be installed. Installer said he hadn't seen something like that in 20 years! In business, problems are expected from time to time, and the mark of an excellent business is how quickly they address/fix the problem. Glenn was amazing, immediately contacting the manufacturer, getting the new floor expedited, and even laid a "loaner" floor using stock vinyl he had on hand because we were having a party that weekend and needed the room to be finished. I would highly recommend Abbey Flooring as a better alternative to the "big" outlets, as their service, selection and pricing were all A+!"

Some grout came out, but the floor is ancient, so it was no surprise. <br /> The bathroom was tougher, and after they'd left I noticed a few spots that looked like they had missed. <br /> The kitchen job was so fantastic that I will give them an and quot;Aand quot; anyway. <br /> Very nice people.
