"Eco Power Works did a great job on my kitchen and bathroom renovation ! Daryl and John were very patient listening to my ideas. They brought in an architect who was reasonably priced and made suggestions to overall designs which I am so glad they did ! The project from Start to finish was on schedule which O was pleasantly surprised - these guys kept their words and their workers were always on time respectful of my property and time. I like that they always checked with me when they took major steps to double check that everyone was on the same page - they communicated every step of the way and were very careful to to do the job right. I really love the beautiful cabinets and marble countertops which were my dreams. I am so glad I hired these guys - they really did a great job overall - will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors !"

"Best Homes LLC just finished our basement and we could not be happier! The quality of work is outstanding and the team was always on time, happy to be here and great at communicating. Jefry is a great project manager and always takes your input regarding placement of different aspects and fixtures. It was a lot of fun working through picking out different tiles, flooring, cabinets, colors, etc to make the space how we envisioned it. We even got to choose the placement of extra outlets and things to make the space fit for our use. The price was very reasonable, especially after being quoted nearly double from another contractor. Our basement turned out absolutely gorgeous and now we have a functional, finished space with a full bathroom and wet bar included. The team was incredibly accommodating, gave a generous allowance for tile and flooring, etc. The project was finished with the quoted price and on time, and we will use Best Homes LLC as our go-to for any contracting needs. 10/10!"

"Throughout the roughly 2 week long master bathroom shower tile install, Sheila responded within minutes to every one of my texts, emails, and phone calls. She showed up on time for our original consult and arrived on site multiple times throughout the work to ensure work was being completed correctly. Her team took extra care to ensure our home around the work area remained clean throughout the process. The installers made certain that details were adhered to according to our wishes--i.e. that the door opened the way we wanted, that the shelves and bar were installed where we wanted them, etc. I highly recommend Sheila and wouldn't hesitate to hire her again. "I have been using the team at home breakthrough for years. At this point they fully remodeled my basement including adding a new bathroom/wet bar. As well as a huge overhaul of my main floor bath and laundry room. The quality of their work is outstanding. I also love their quote structure. They start with a labor number and give you an idea of what materials will cost but it’s essentially a chose your own adventure on how high end you want to go on features etc and they are very helpful to guide you on the way as well as have great experts to point you to on cabinets, fixtures, tile, countertops etc to help you achieve your vision. Look forward to having them back for my next project!"

"If you want to work with someone condescending, rude, confrontational, unprofessional, and whose contractors workmanship is probably the worst I have ever encountered in my 30 years of working with contractors, THIS IS YOUR GUY. I can ramble on about the false promises, the horrible workmanship, the constant delays, the lack of communication, the rude and confrontational text messages. I guarantee Mr. Shank will in fact respond to this review and try to flip the script and blame it all on me somehow. He talks very poorly about all his customers well at least the ones he doesn't like. Not sure what that is based on although I do have some idea what is based on. But he never made anything explicit, so I can't make accusations that he is a racist. So I am definitely not saying he is a racist because he didn't do anything racist. But if he was a racist it would explain why he didn't give two poops about doing good work for multiple projects I provided him. I also have multiple properties and was hoping to make Mr. Shank a lifelong contractor. In a nutshell, he has done 2 projects for me at 2 properties. One was installing a threshold for a glass enclosed shower stall. His crappy sub contractor (they are not employees) despite him saying they are employees, did not install any grouting on the threshold. Fast forward 1 year, and mold is popping up all around the threshold. Rather than dealing with this individual, I hired another contractor to fix up his mess. Second job, and my second mistake, I hired him for a full scale home renovation for around 50K. That project was an absolute disaster. He took 3 months to do what he promised to me verbally would be a 3 week job. I don't really want to spend 1 hour writing down all the crap he did wrong. I'll try so sum up the highlights. Ripped out old flooring, promised to make new flooring level after installing new concrete by using lasers. New flooring is totally not level and as bumpy as walking on your local trail. The shoe moldings around the flooring look like a child installed them. I had to argue with him to get him to regrout the bathroom which was in his contract in the first place. I can go on and on. For sure if you are someone that Mr. Shank likes and match his criteria of what he likes, whatever that could be I have no idea definitely not race related. He may do a great job for you and that may explain the great reviews. I myself had a horrible experience with Mr. Shank and his group of sub contractors who just plain do terrible work. Ignore my review or take it seriously, frankly this guy will keep getting business cause he's a great salesman. Even has a LinkedIN profile to show how professional he is. Epic scammer and fraud. Stay away."
