We had an original 50 year old driveway that had many challenges including a steep grade and several top coats over the years, that created problems with water coming in the garage and bottoming out of large vehicles on a dip in the driveway. They also recommended painting the vertical portions of garage floor (wall) and aprons (between garage and driveway), and simply adding paint to those areas provides a tremendous color contrast, value and visual appearance. Dave is a stand-up guy, provided details around his quote to be as transparent as he could. He even followed up several days later just to make sure I liked the outcome of the fully cured floor."

"The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."

"After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further! These are your go to guys for all landscape/hardscape work in the area!"
