"Our refrigerator stopped working on Christmas Eve. I called For a repair the day after Christmas thinking that it might take a week to get an appointment. Dave said that he could come right out that day. While there to fix the refrigerator, we mentioned that the dryer was making a horrible screeching noise. He fixed that too. He did need to order a part for the refrigerator but was able to get it going perfectly until the part came in. Once the part arrived, he returned to do the final repair. It's nice to know who to call when I need an appliance repaired. Dave is very professional and does great work. If you need a repair, I would recommend Drapeau's Appliance Repair."

"At first it was suggested that the whole commode be replaced, but it was found out that the bowl was intact and that only the tank be replaced. "This was a pretty standard job to undertake according to our friend who is a contractor.  No structural changes or relocating of plumbing lines or windows, etc. were necessary.   They gutted the room and put it back together with new tile, fixtures, lighting and paint.  The old materials were removed promptly.  United's quote was the highest of the 3 we received, but we were very impressed with Alessandro from our first interaction with him, and happy that they could start the job within a couple of weeks.  We purchased all the fixtures and materials needed for the project right after we signed the contract, so they were on site when we got the call from Alessandro notifying us that they were ready to start.  We were told the job would be completed in 3 weeks, and it was.  There were only a few small issues during the project (as there always are), but Alessandro was excellent about responding and making sure that we were satisfied.  Our old 1963 bathroom is now a beautiful 2014 bathroom!  We are very happy with the workmanship and would definitely use this company again."

"The project began in May with demolition of the Master Bathroom lasting about five days. The crew did take care to clean-up after each day?s work so that the rest of the household was not affected.  Construction came in spurts with a one man
operation each time and it required contacting Missy and/or Dave to make sure when someone would show up. Also there were a number of items that had to be redone due to poor planning and incorrect measurements.
Examples:

•  - Installation of the medicine cabinets had to be realigned twice because the placement of the vent pipes was not accurately

measured,
  - Installation of a new toilet and sink in the small bathroom had to be redone because no one measured the location to see if the
two items would fit in the space,
   - One edge of the shower wall had to be modified after construction because the design did not accommodate the glass door that was specified in the contract.
 As a result of these problems of poor planning and management of resources, the project was not completed
until the end of November (six months !).  The initial completion time was estimated to take 3 months.
 The final cost of the project did not change as a result of these delays. But Northeast Bath Builders did try to renegotiate contract in order to receive an additional payment prior to the completion of the work. We did not agree and held them to the contract
of final payment at completion of the work.  
As to the workmanship of the project, the craftsmanship of the cabinetry was excellent as well as the work of the subcontractors for
electrical and plumbing.  Over all comments about the project are similar to those of another customer?s review, ?this is an
outfit you have to watch.  (They are) very difficult to reach.?   So our recommendation about Northeast Bath
Builders to other customers who are considering a total remodeling of a bathroom would be to have:
     - A project completion date specified in the contract with penalties for missing time points
     - A drawn blueprint or design plan with measurements of what the final project will look like.
