"Standard Water installed a full-perimeter drain tile system in my home. This work included the removal of an existing drain tile system (original system only covered a portion of the house’s perimeter) and the need to tunnel under an existing tiled shower stall as one complicated feature of the project. Standard Water provided excellent service in answering all of the questions that I had before the work started and as the work was in progress. The company was very diligent in keeping the house clean (removed debris through a basement window) and thoroughly cleaned up once they were completely done with the project. On the day of the installation, the foreman noticed that the previously planned location of the discharge pipe was to be located in an area where discharged water would have covered the main walkway that leads to the front door. The foreman made a recommendation to re-route the discharge pipe to another location, far from where people enter and exit the house. I was very impressed with this as the company was looking after my best interest in this regard even through the alternative location was not as easy for them to complete as sticking with the original plan for the discharge pipe. On the second day of the project, some damage occurred inside the house were materials were being loaded/removed through a basement window. Standard Water came out immediately to inspect the damage, took ownership of the problem and promptly resolved the issue to my full satisfaction. I would recommend Standard Water to anyone seeking the installation of a drain tile system. The professionalism of its people, the quality of its work and its materials are superior to anyone else in the market."

"When giving a window of time they would be there, they always ran hours late, causing me to miss hours of work on several occasions. When I viewed the project after the trench was dug and the gravel was laid and the plastic diversion material was in place, it was obvious that many of the holes they drilled were ABOVE the plastic material. I questioned the owner and he said the cinder blocks had cement in the base and they had to drill above that. He also said he would have his cement man make sure to raise the height of the plastic to cover the holes. It didn't happen. Concete was poured and the holes showed in a dozen instances! I asked that they redo the work and they agreed. Then when they came out to redo it they called and asked if we REALLY wanted them to do it and basically talked us out of it. They put up another barrier behind the cemented in one which could easily slip out. They gave us a written guarantee to replace not only the drain tile but our carpeting if water came in."

However, our basement already had existing wall anchor plates which significantly complicated the egress window install. Complete Basement Systems was the only company willing to take on the project and had experience with such systems. The solution was to remove the wall anchor plates, replace them with wall braces, and install the egress window. Cody and his crew called 1 week ahead of time to verify install details and allowed me to ask questions on how I could prep the area for their work. They set the schedule to arrive at 9:00 AM on day 1 to perform the work, which they arrived on-time and promptly began work. The day they performed the work, unfortunately, happened to also be the hottest day of the year. Cody and his crew work without one single complaint, they worked through lunch without a break, remained professional and positive. Given the extent of the work that needed to be done, they needed to return the following day to complete the install of the window. Cody and his crew worked incredibly hard, were professional, and the quality of their work was excellent. I would not hesitate to hire Complete Basement Systems again for any future work we would need to be done in our basement and would highly recommend them to anyone considering basement improvements/repairs/remodels."
