"At our first meeting (after interviewing 3 others) Greg laid out the plan for the deck replacement and after 15 minutes I knew he was a competent, detail oriented contractor. During this project he broke down the staggered payments and communicated every day of the project through texts and showing up in person. Greg took charge in overseeing everything like a platoon leader in the field by maintaining the flow of construction resulting in a smooth, exceptional conclusion. Part of the old deck was problematic. He examined every inch where there were issues and was able to overcome some difficulty and see what I couldn't. He suggested a landing on the stairway, widening and decreasing the pitch which accommodated an easier climb for us. Those are just the highlights, there was much more. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!

The entire experience from calling and making the appointment to interactions with the crew were just top notch.

The crew worked very hard and efficiently. Very friendly and courteous.

I had called the day before and they said they may be able to get to me on Saturday and they called me today and said they had a cancellation and could come out today and do the work. The quality of the work was impressive.

I will definitely use them in the future for any roofing on my house.

"Work agreed to: 1) level a slope, 2) build stone patio, 3) install fence. Period of performance told by the contractor was 5 days to a week and a half. Work started May 16. By June 3 project was not half complete. Contractor delivered pile of dirt and pile of gravel and railroad ties for retaining walls. Contractor did some work. If reasons given were accurate, then some missing days for medial were reasonable but after three weeks there were several issues: 1) the work was only about halfway complete after three weeks, 2) the slope remained which can't be used since it's needed for a shed, bee hives, and raised beds, 3) the rear retaining wall was already leaning and losing dirt from only one rain. With these concerns I consulted two other landscapers who immediately identified problems with the wall as well as the slope, that it would not hold through one winter. In addition, contractor may not have contacted Digsafe, public utilities, and city public works for permission to proceed with any excavation. I have a lot more details including inconsistent texts"

I especially liked the fact that when he left I had hardly any cleaning to do and my driveway(where he set up workshop) was immaculate. "I’ve worked with Jared Rice and True North on several projects over the last few years. The most I could ask for is good communication, dependability, and quality of work and I’m never disappointed. He also has a great group of subs that make all of our jobs run smoothly and timely- all things that can make or break a renovation and a budget. This is sometimes hard to find in my industry.
