"Choice Home Warranty presents their company as the best home warranty. The sales pitch I received on the phone multiple times and in my countless e-mails that they sent. The information stated that repairs are done at times on the same day. I did purchase the warranty in June 2023. I called for my first service on July 21st. When my washer was draining the water my kitchen sink filled up with the water the washer was draining. I was then told that the job is sent out and we wait 24-48 hours for the response with an appointment. So I waited and followed up with a call to Choice. I was told no one had accepted the job. I received a phone call from Falcon Plumbing asking if I still needed service? I said yes!! The service was scheduled on July 26th. That is 5 days after my request for service. Not the same day not right away 5 days later. The young man that came out was very efficient . He cleared the pipe and asked me to run the washer to see that the water did not back up into the sink again. Problem solved. I did pay the required $75.00 for the service. I am very disappointed that Choice sounded like it was better than other home warranty co. I realize that Choice was not concerned with getting my repair right away. I have had a home warranty on my home since I purchased it 5 years ago. I think they are just like protection plans you purchase on a home appliance. Everyone will explain how you need this so much when they are trying to sell it to you. Hoping you never need to use it...Bad first experience."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

Moved to a new house and the water was yellow and stinky due to rust and hardness. Called Glaser Softwater and despite the owner being on vacation, they still took immediate action and had a rust remover and water softener installed within a few days. We’ve had water softeners in the past but Glaser has proven to be the best by far! Our water went from yellow and nasty to the best water we've ever had. "Charles Hicks of I Can Fix That was prompt in responding to my call for an estimate.  He looked over the job and gave me what I considered a fair estimate.  We agreed on power washing the house and spray staining with 1 coat of quality stain for $6500 labor and cost of stain and materials (estimated at $1500-$2000) .   I agreed to hire him.  Initially he estimated a 2-3 week start date.  He actually started about a 1 week after the estimate visit.  His crew was professional, polite, and worked a steady 8-10 hours a day.  Charles often dropped in to review the work being done and pointed out any issues he noticed with the condition of the house and offered suggestions and alternatives to assure a quality job.  At times he was also working on site. 
  After the house was washed Charles suggested rolling and brushing the stain on would achieve a better result because of the somewhat poor condition of the siding.  It should have had this job done years ago.  I agreed to this change.  After one coat of stain had been applied to the entire house Charles suggested a second coat was advisable.  He told me he would provide the additional labor and materials at no additional cost to me.  Charles and his crew did minor additional work not specified in our original agreement.
  The finished job is beautiful!  I would hire Charles again and will recommend him to others.
