"We used both Habitar Design and Stratagem Construction for two projects over the past year and would use again for future projects. Our first project was to design an office/ living space for our first floor den. MacKenzie was our designer and did a great job of presenting several options. Because we were happy with our first project we decided to do a “face lift “of the kitchen (painting cabinet, new counters and lighting). "I needed 17 windows replaced and installed in an apartment unit. I contacted Todor to get an estimate on just the installation since I had already purchased the windows. He gave me a very fair price and we set up a time for him to come out, pick up the windows and install. I also had to coordinate the schedule with my tenant in order for this to happen smoothly so he gave me some possible dates he was able to come by and do the installation weather permitting. This was a 2 day job - the first day, Todor and his crew removed all the existing original windows and installed them. We also discussed making sure all the windows were properly insulated with foam as well as aluminum capping on the outside. During the installation, we found that the 3 of the lintels were badly rusted and needed attention. He explained to me most window installs are done incorrectly and that typically the lintels are covered with aluminum which hold the water and accelerates the rust process since there's no where for the water to go. He was able to repair the lintels for a reasonable cost and said they were still in decent shape and didn't need to be replaced. Everything else went as planned. The windows look and work great. My tenant was very complimentary about his professionalism and cleanliness and I am happy with the final product. I worked with Todor last year on my own house and have nothing but excellent things to say about him. He is honest, knowledgable, easy to work with and takes pride in his work. I would most definitely recommend Todor and his crew for exterior work. I have already gotten an estimate from him to perform siding work and plan to start that project in the fall. <br />"

"We had a 750 sq foot elevated deck built by Joel and the building team led by Matt. Joel was fantastic to work with from his first visit, design proposal and quote. The building team led by Matt did extremely high quality work and were great to design with as the project progressed. They were very neat and hard working. We were delighted with the overall experience, result and value for money. We would definitely work with them again and highly recommend them."

"I cannot recommend Bigane Construction too highly!!  This was a difficult project, which spanned a period of three months--including the last month, during most of which my wife and I were living in the unit while construction was continuing.  The quality of the workmanship was far beyond our highest expectations.  The principal worker on the job, Lukasz, is a true artisan as well as a wonderful individual.  He was unfailingly helpful, was neat as could be, had great insights as to how best to do the work, and communicated with us constantly with regard to questions which would arise.  He also worked very closely with our kitchen and bathroom planner, to ensure that the actual work not only conformed to the drawings but to the planner's design vision as well.  Lukasz is a perfectionist, who insists on everything being absolutely correct.  He knows the kitchen and bath remodeling business inside and out.  The other workmen on the job which Bigane provided (including brick masons, plumbers, glass installers and painters) were equally professional.    Bill Bigane himself was always available when needed.  I feel that the overall fee was not excessive in the light of the work performed.  The resulting effort is a showpiece, of which we are extremely proud.  I hope to never again have to live through a remodeling--but if I did, Bigane would be the first people I would call."
