They removed it and also took care of its disposal. And the cost was absurdly reasonable - dinner for two would have cost more. "I was overdue for getting my chimney cleaned. After researching I called up Always Affordable Chimney. Despite it already being December, John came to inspect a couple of days later and told me we needed a liner for the chimney furnace and that it was a priority safety-wise, despite needing a creosote cleaning in the fireplace. John showed me the photos and explained it all as well as showed me inside the furnace flue. They came to do the work a couple of days after I called to confirm. The crew, led by John, was professional and thorough, answering any questions we had. They worked with me for making payment arrangements and threw in the creosote cleaning at no charge.
