"We contracted with High Five Plumbing to purchase and install a 40 gallon water heater to replace a 21-year-old unit. Our experience with the company was terrific. Members of the office staff were cordial, helpful, and professional, providing options and information, following-up on appointments, etc. Caleb, who installed the water heater, is a real pro and a good guy who answered all our questions and provided a thorough explanation of the various services offered by High Five. He is a credit to his company. We didn't have a plumber on our contacts list. We do now. Cliff Foster, Denver"

Small jobs welcome

"The company was very fast, efficient, and very professional. I had to have my sewer pipe replaced, so they had to dig up my laundry room and bedroom floor. About a 1’1/2” wide of concrete floor They fixed the pipe and repaired the cement floor and cleaned up all of there mess. The workers were very nice and did a great job. And very far price. I’m very happy with their work. Would highly recommend this company."

"He was very knowledgeable and explained to me why it would be best to replace my 15 year old water than to repair it. But I was not pressured either way. I decided to replace, and it was a great investment."

"I called Hyper Flow while shopping for quotes to root my main sewer line for preventative maintenance. I also wanted to scope the line with a camera, for peace of mind. The lady I spoke to on the phone (I apologize, I forget her name) was very pleasant and professional. She quickly gave me the rates to expect for the rooting as well as their flat rate for the camera scope. With their competitive prices, I did not hesitate to set up an appointment. Not only were they able to show up the very next day, but my technician, Jon, showed up ten minutes early! He reiterated the same prices quoted to me over the phone, no nickel and diming. Jon was professional, prompt, clean and informative. In these weird times, he had no issues wearing a mask the entire time, which we appreciated. He answered all of my questions and allowed me to watch the live feed of the camera scope, explaining everything he saw along the way. What impressed me is that he scoped the line both before AND after he cleaned out the roots, so we both saw the immediate impact of his work. Very cool! He's also sending me a copy of the video from the scope! Hyper Flow has earned their perfect 5-star rating on Yelp as well as my future business."

"We had our main sewer line and kitchen drain line replaced. It was a big job and Michael did excellent work. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He answered all our questions and concerns and kept us informed about all aspects of the job. Paul was great too. He figured a way to reroute our kitchen drain so that our gas fireplace did not have to be torn out. We were very satisfied with the work and clean up done. We highly recommend Flatirons Plumbing."

"Better Plumbing did an awesome job. I am replacing a tub to a walk in shower and after removing the tub I was surprised with a drain pipe from the kitchen that ran behind the tub. I couldn't install my walk in shower base. I didn't know of any plumbers so I used HomeAdvisor and the next day I had the job done and my shower base is installed. Plus they did it on Labor Day. Wonderful guys and very reasonable. I will have them back out to do more work. Thank you."

"I would highly recommend Brady (BC Plumbing) to anyone. I was thoroughly impressed with his prompt and excellent service on the install of my water main. His prices are more than reasonable. I admired his patience and ability to work with me as I accepted his offer in June, but did not get back to him until late September. At which point there was no delay in getting things done! Thanks Brady and your marvelous crew!"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Littleton, CO

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
