"We had Real Help Concrete complete a few projects including installing a new concrete driveway and refinishing and recoloring our stamped concrete patio. Both jobs were done to perfection. Our experience from start to finish was very positive. Josh and his team are very professional and detail oriented. It was clear upon meeting them that they were extremely good at what they do both from a business standpoint as well as from their workmanship. We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them!"

"The work went fine. Driveway looks good. Redone sidewalk in front of the house is sloped in the wrong direction - it should drain AWAY from the house. New back porch looks nice, however it developed a 5 foot long crack in only 9 months. Three calls to the business in 3 months with NO RETURN CALLS. Would not do business with Kfouri Concrete again and would not recommend them to anyone."

"I explained, seven times over two weeks of negotiations... ONE RULE- "MAKE SURE THE WATER RUNS AWAY FROM WHERE I STEP OUT OF MY VEHICLES, & AWAY FROM MY DOORSTEP". Ray, promised me the Moon... & actually acted annoyed that the results I requested wouldn't be Elite Concrete's Outcome. The day they poured cement was 90 degrees. They scooped, shoveled & tried to finish in a Hurry .... Guess what the Results were? After > $9,000 paid in CASH, MY Windows are splashed with hardened concrete, My cement block Foundation was MOVED 1" by Ray Mang, Mice now have Highways into my basement, My walk-in DOORSTEP doesn't close, AND TA-DAA-, THE God **** WATER STILL runs to where I step out of my two vehicles (2 Car Garage) and water doesn't run, "TO" the two drains near the Apron of my garage....!!! Either Ray or his Dad aught to, "Man-Up" & remedy the situation, or, If I have to, we'll see this adjudicated in Court. Counts of, "Fraud" and Grand Theft (Over $2,500) will be filed, Monday, October 17th. I'd also be interested to see if the IRS received his listing of payment received (Almost $9,000), listed on Ray's, or Elite Concrete's Account's Receivable. This isn't just Sour Grapes, It's the Truth. Updated 12/5/2022 I wrote a review on 10/22 of this year detailing my disappointment with services rendered. I am pleased to report that the Owner of Elite Concrete reached out to me last evening and offered to speak with me at length to remedy the multiple problems I experienced. I am trying to get ahold of the web page designer to remove my previous post. At this time I am revising star-rating, based on the positive efforts and professionalism exhibited by Ray Mang Senior. Will keep you posted."

"we had 10+ double hung windows, a new slider & a new door installed. we selected our Sunrise windows & immediately noticed the difference in our comfort level this past winter; even in the summer with no A/C, the house stays a lot cooler than before. I was a little nervous since this was going to cost a good amount, so I researched forever (it seemed), interviewed a few folks re: costs, & decided on Ivy Lea. I wanted peace of mind in case of any issues, now & down the line. I wanted quality windows & professional install. the entire process of working with Russ, choosing products & securing financing was easy. the installers were prompt, skilled & personable. we were so happy with the window process that we're back again this year working with Russ on a much bigger project!"

"It was $5,000 for wood and $7,000 for vinyl so they gave me two detailed quotes. The quote was reasonable. The guy came as scheduled and he was very professional. I really liked him. We probably won't use him but I liked everything about him. He was the owner. They mailed the quotes to me very quickly."

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Lockport, NY

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
