"<p>After seeing an ad for Wood Tex and looking up their reviews ect , we took the ride to their shop in Himrod NY to see what they did and to see their lot of pre-fab structures . When we arrived we were impressed and spoke to Amy who was incredibly knowledgeable polite and professional . She walked us thru the whole process of design , price and all the fine details . After a few weeks of contemplating our options and several estimates to build new we decided on Wood Tex . Again , we took the ride and spoke with Amy who guided us thru the final stages of ordering ect . We pre arranged dates for delivery and our project was handed to Nelson . As expected , Nelson was also top notch and a pleasure to deal with . On the day of delivery , The crew showed up within 5 mins of the time Nelson quoted and within 1/2hr had their truck , tools and equipment set up and were working . Lamar the crew leader and his crew were astonishing in their work , ethic , politeness , skill and whatever other adjective you can think of for awesome . Within </p> 3hrs they had 99% of the new garage up !! I cannot say enough about their attention to detail and skill . We are thoroughly impressed with every detail from our 1st meeting with Amy to our final goodbye's with Lamar and his crew . If we ever have another project like this or need a building of any kind I wont even look else where . Ill call Amy in a heartbeat . "The roof was completed first and the interior work was done at a later date. The roof was done very quickly. All debris was picked up thoroughly and we are happy with the results. For the interior work, the workmen were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and neat. They were prompt in the morning, and kept us informed daily about progress. When decisions needed to be made, they used layman's terms, explained options and were clear when sending us for materials and paint. They took very few breaks and let us know when they were going to lunch. They worked carefully, there were no big messes, and they cleaned everything up at the end of each day. The whole project took less time than we anticipated. We are very happy with the completed repairs. We also had one window replaced with this project. Very nice quality, basic vinyl clad window."

"<ul> <li>Walked me through step by step of what was going to happen.</li> <li>Had an appointment to pick out everything for the bathroom.  While this sounds like fun, it is very stressful and the team that I was working with could tell I was getting stressed and changed the way I was picking out each item.  Then it all came together and I left very happy.</li> <li>Started a week earlier than they gave me.</li> <li>Had a lock box on the house, never saw the crew, but they left everyday with a very clean area.</li> <li>It almost was like Christmas when I came home from work to see what was done each day.</li> <li>Called me when they found an issue, (I knew they would find something) walked me through it and told me what they were going to do to fix it.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Office called me to let me know when they would be back.</li> <li>Little did I know, my neighbor was keeping an eye on what was going on and told me after the end of the project that they were very professional while they were at the house.</li> <li>They told me the job would take 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they were right on.</li> </ul> They tore out my flooring, ceiling, walls.  New plumbing was installed, new electrical work was done. <br /> Everything new was put in.  I didn't originally have a medicine cabinet, and they put one in.  I wanted a corner shower, which the plumbing would have to go on an outside wall, so additional insulation and changes needed to be made to protect the plumbing from the cold. They suggested to put in a smaller vanity to give me more room in a very small bathroom, and it looks fantastic.  <br /> The bathroom is more than I thought it would be.  Absolutely love it.  I show it off any chance I get. <br /> This is the second major project I've had Ivy Lea do and again, they made the job stress-less. <br />"

"This contractor was so good to work with that we will be having them come back to build the new garage when are ready to start the project. They were very professional and came exactly when they said they would. They also worked very quickly. I was happy that they didn't leave any mess for me to clean up."

"Joe O. from Allstate along with Karen L. from GAF Energy did a thorough evaluation of our old roof and clearly explained the new roofing and solar options - they took the time to answer our questions and made sure we understood what would be involved, how much it would cost, and which rebates and tax credits we qualified for. Allstate arranged for all the permits and inspections required for the project, so everything was ready when the work began, and all the appropriate inspections were performed as needed. The project took just over 1.5 days to complete. The roofing crew was very careful to do a good job - they were very hard-working, and made sure to thoroughly clean up the site when they were finished. GAF sent experts to train the crew in working to integrate the solar panels into the roof, since this is something relatively new here. We were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved in the project, and the care taken to giving us the best possible result (they even made sure we arranged to have our LeafFilter system removed before they came so it wouldn't be damaged by the roof tear-off). Joe O. from Allstate has followed up with us several times since the project was completed to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and to answer any questions we might have. We are very pleased with the end result of this project. The roof looks great, and it's very nice to not have water dripping into our bedroom when it rains! We are looking forward to seeing how much our electric bill is reduced by using the solar panels. The panels are part of the roof, so they aren't raised above the roof - they look great and fit in well with the roof! Although the project cost was higher than just adding another layer of shingles over the old roof, we believe the value received was well worth the amount we spent. "House Crafters came out to do a estimate on our roof which had been leaking from the skylights. We did not know the exact age of the roof but Bob their salesman came out pretty quickly to take a look. Bob went up on the roof and did a very extensive explanation of the issues but also what the product options were. He also was able to give us the information on who to call for lending options. We also appreciate that Bob observed CDC guidelines when come for the call in the middle of a pandemic. We got approved for a lender and the team they sent to do was very pleasant at professional. They kept to themselves and worked the entire day with no interruptions to our own day. The lead on the crew even explained some of the issues that came up in the project and showed us pictures for context which we appreciated. Their clean up was done fairly well and made sure that none of the yard around the house was damaged or ruined from roofing coming down. I would use Housecrafters again for my roofing needs and recommend to others as well."
