After a disappointing experience with the tile and granite people who where hired by the contractor when remodeling our newly purchased condo, I found Solid Surface on Angie's List. I've successfully used Angie's List many times before, but gave in to the contractor's claim that his people were just as good and cheaper. The "cheaper" work ended up being unsatisfactory, incomplete and more expensive. To finish the work that should have been originally done, I found Solid Surface on Angie's List and liked the reviews. I contacted Dean, who saw what was needed, made suggestions, agreed on a price which was very reasonable, and he and his son came on one day to do the sealing and then came again on to install the back splash. They were very careful to cover everything and clean up after themselves. They even did extra work to correct mistakes or sloppy work by the contractor's workers.
