"We did a major addition to our home. It was 2 stories, included a kitchen, new roof line, dining room, facade. OCHB did the entire job, from the new foundations they poured up to the last shingle on the roof. OC Home Builders was outstanding. The reason they're so good is it's a team effort: the husband, Jim, is a detail-oriented, no-nonsense, high quality contractor. And his wife, America, is the customer service. It's a perfect combo. Jim gets it done right, and America makes sure you're brought along and your concerns are heard. Then they have their 2 sons doing a lot of the work, and they're just great. Good, kind boys that are really hard working. Their other employees, David and Paul are also way above par. Good people and really detail oriented-no-shortcuts-type of folks. Anyway, we've used them multiple times and their work has never failed. From a cost perspective, we found them to be right in-line with the majority. Not cheap, but not expensive...but with the excellent product, it's a much higher value."

"We could not be more pleased with the work from Kyle Beym Home Improvement. Kyle himself is very professional, came out to discuss the job, timeframe, and exactly what we wanted done. The work was scheduled at a time that was convenient to us. We scheduled so that work would be done while we were out of town. Kyle Beym and his employees were very clear in their communications and forthcoming in what we could expect. The work they did was top notch, the job was completed on time, they were very thorough in cleaning up after the work was done (before we came back home), and it was so exciting to come home to ceiling that had been retextured, painted, and with new recessed lights and ceiling fan installed. We were blown away by the quality of the work. You will not be sorry with this company!"

"We interviewed many contractors for this job. In the end, it boiled down to the good rapport with Nathan. On the plus side, his work is beautiful and his workers always showed up as promised. He never quibbled about some concerns we had throughout. But, we were up sold some work, (which we likely needed anyway) but were under the gun to make a decision and had to haggle under those conditions. Also, he sometimes requires multiple messages to get a response. Overall, very, very pleased with results and recommend to anyone."

The contractor and owner of the company Ouriel Lousky was most professional in every aspect of the job. His crews were timely and most efficient in every way. He had his subcontractors lined up so the job was never lagging behind. I would recommend him to anyone who is planning on a remodel or a renovation. Mary V."

"Our initial meeting with Suj was great. Initially, we had in mind a much larger job. He had quoted us $3000 for the closet demolition / wall rebuild (non-load bearing), packaged with several other items. Together with the fee for drawings ($4000) and permits, this was a bit higher than we anticipated. However, we decided to go with Suj due to his responsiveness and professionalism. Out of our other quotes, Suj’s pricing was middle of the pack - not the cheapest or most expensive. When the drawings were complete and evaluated, he gave us an updated cost of $6000 over text message. The scope of work had changed, and this was no longer part of a bigger project - understandable. The issue was when he gave us the official estimate a week later and up’d the price once again to $9000. When asked what happened, his exact words were “well, I need to get paid too”. He had weeks to consider before quoting the $6000 and nothing had changed since then. The extra $3000 may be insignificant compared to most renovation costs, but for us in our first home, this was back breaking. We continued with Suj since we were already locked in and well past the 3 day cancellation period. Their work for the most part was exceptional. The new wall blended perfectly into our existing structure, and the ceiling patch was also well done. The problem here was the floor. They had dug up a 1” deep pit in the floor, likely to remove the wall studs. However, they did not patch the floor or even let us know this was going to be an issue. We were never told about the pit until I decided to check in on their progress one day towards the end of the wall build. This required us to pay a handyman to come in next day on a weekend to patch the concrete since we had cabinets being installed the following Tuesday. Suj was aware of this and did not believe it pertinent information. Overall, Suj and SoCal Builders do quality work, but the issues in pricing consistency lost us before the work even started. Not even telling us that we’d be left with a 1” deep pit in our floor after was another huge issue which should’ve been brought up much earlier. This was our first experience with a contractor and I’m not sure if this is typical or not. However, it’s enough to make me doubt I’d contact them for any future work."

"Great, professional and VERY trustworthy construction company. Our remodeling project was to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms and it was on time and within the promised budget, there were no unexpected issues or problems that could not be solved or left aside. More than that, they were all solved in a very timely manner with the working crew, who were very friendly, organized and clean. We must admit that they were not the cheapest, but they were worth each and every penny. We highly recommend INA Kitchens and we will hire them again."
