"David and his team did a wonderful job renovating our basement. Pictures to follow!! Thank you all!"

"We hired Heartland Village General Contracting and Handyman Services to execute a full, top-to-bottom renovation of our bathroom at the beginning of March of 2026. This was a major project involving demolition , new flooring, updated electrical and plumbing to accommodate a new layout of the bathroom. The company manager/owner, Harvey, was excellent. He provided a detailed project schedule before work began and proactively communicated every step of the way. The quality of the final product exceeded our expectations. Harvey's attention to detail truly made the difference."

"Robert did a phenomenal job on all aspects of the projects. He was especially knowledgeable in regards to the different options we might have along with costs, as well as bang for your buck. His work is flawless and long lasting. If at any point you had a question or were unsure about how something was coming out (which is common with any remodel) he has a way of assuring you, and is open to reworking things until they are to your standard. His experience also makes him a terrific sounding board to discuss ideas and possibilities before endeavoring to begin a project that may have implications that you havent considered. He is not the most expensive contractor you will find, but he offers the best value of any that we have worked with in the past. He renovated a bathroom, a living room, a dining room, stairs, and a patio door, which included siding."

It was devine intervention that days after the storm the president of Homes and Beyond was given the wrong address to provide an estimate for a basement remediatioon job in my Rockaway neighborhood. When he knocked on my door, we struck up a conversation. I showed him my basement. He was reluctant to take a downpayment from me because I had never met him before, had no references for him, and he didn't want to spook me. Nevertheless, I had a good feeling. I gave him a deposit which he said he would not cash until I had checked out a few references. I went to the homes where he was in the process of doing work, made a few calls, and liked what I heard. He did an excellent job on the basement gutting and remediation. I then hired him to do the outdoor repairs from falling trees and to do the one floor (including new base molding, sheetrock, insulation and painting) inside my house that had water damage. He is currently in the process of renovating my basement, which includes walls (framing, sheetrocking and some cement skim-coating) floor, ceiling, insulation, etc. All of his workers must be given some kind of orientation because they are all super considerate, very neat, etc. I have no complaints and would certainly recommend Homes and Beyond.

"We recently hired Milton and his team for a large scaled renovation job for our basement. The job included floor leveling, vinyl flooring installation, interior painting, and electrical work. We are very pleased with how well the job was done. The team was incredibly efficient, detailed, and professional. Very easy to communicate! We would 100% have Milton back for other tasks and also refer him to our neighbours and friends."

"I highly recommend Loja Renovations & Fine Carpentry LLC! Manuel and Fabian were professional, courteous, and did an outstanding job. They helped me with several projects in my home, including mounting two TVs, installing a shoe rack, hanging a very heavy mirror, putting up window shades, and installing several shelves. Everything was done carefully and professionally, and they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. What I especially appreciated was how prompt and reliable they were. They came all the way from Corona, Queens, and arrived ready to get everything done. Their attention to detail and quality of work really stood out. They offer a wide range of renovation and carpentry services, and based on my experience, I would absolutely hire them again for future projects. It’s not always easy to find people who are dependable, skilled, courteous, and take pride in their work, so I’m very glad I found Manuel and Fabian."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Furniture Assembly Service! I’m extremely pleased with their service! I needed my queen bed and my toddler’s twin bed assembled, and they came through quickly on the same day. They worked efficiently, got both beds assembled in no time, and did a fantastic job. The service was fast, professional, and convenient. I truly appreciate their help and would absolutely book them again. Highly recommend!"

"I used these guys for a remodeling job which included bathroom renovation, some minor electrical work, knocking down and installing new dry wall and painting. Class acts! We all hear horror stories about contractors not calling you back or not showing up on time or showing up at all. Not these guys! Hector, Moises and their crew really did exactly what they said they were going to do. Friendly, responsive and oh yea, solid work! Professional through and through! Highly recommend them and would use them again!"

"Every year Tanem Construction completes a project on our 100-year-old center colonial home. Weâ ve come up with creative solutions to make the current footprint of our home more useful. Adding walls, removing walls, removing radiators, adding and updating bathrooms, adding storage, a laundry room, and a wet bar with entertainment area when including our basement as part of our living space. On the outside, they did our stoop and fixed flashing on our roof in areas that caused leaks. As a woman with young children, I feel comfortable with them working in my home. Paul, Gene, and the team are pleasant and create a safe working environment!"
