"Got to my place later than expected because they were stuck on another job which is understandable. Did not finish my job until after 12:00 am in the morning. My job took longer than anticipated. I was given one price at the beginning and that's what we anticipated paying because I am on a budget. After the job was finished we were handed a bill that was much more than what was quoted. I was a very upset about that. I know that it took longer and they had to go back and forth to the truck to get supplies, the only thing is I wish I was informed of this during the job so I would know what to do. What if we didn't have the money? Anyway the job was done good and we are pleased with the outcome. So far our sink is working properly and good. We had a double sink installed, the faucet and we have a water omosis machine that had to get hooked up, so it did take a lot of time because piping had to be changed from a single sink to a double. I would recommend this company."

"I found Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc. using Angie's List and I selected them because they were rated highly and were nearby. Jay did a fantastic job. He arrived on time and was extremely professional throughout the entire repair. He even brought his own doormat to wipe his shoes on before entering the house. He provided estimates before starting the repairs and made sure I clearly understood what repairs needed to be done. Originally, we thought only one pipe (coming out of the house) needed to be replaced that fed the sprinkler system, but Jay discovered that the vacuum breaker had also cracked. Since he didn't have that part on his truck, he went to a plumbing supply store that was a little farther away to buy a good quality part rather than to a big box store. He returned promptly and replaced the broken vacuum breaker carefully. Throughout the entire repair, Jay was willing to answer all of my many questions, and he explained each part of the process as he was doing it. He checked both the toilet and the pipe feeding the sprinkler for leaks when he had finished the repair and made sure everything was working properly. I even observed that Jay kept a very clean and neat truck with everything labeled clearly so it could be found easily. Also, when I called to make the appointment, the woman on the phone, who was extremely polite, suggested that I take the first appointment in the day so there would be no waiting. I admire those who clearly take pride in their work and who complete their work carefully and competently. I would highly recommend Jay as a service technician as well as Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc."

"I had an immediate need for the repair or replacement of a pipe in my bathroom. Joe from Simple Event responded almost immediately to my request on Home Advisor. He came on the next day, which was a Sunday, to give me the rundown on what he expected to do, explaining that once he opened the wall there were a few possibilities. He returned on Monday and worked so hard for many hours. He did a great job prepping the room to protect it. At various times he called me in to show me what he found and explain what he was going to do. He worked with me to find the best solution to my concerns...when you realize that your tiles and wall are going to have to be cut open, it s a bit nerve racking. Joe made it work."

"I got estimates from three companies and Sal's was the most suitable for me, based on description of the work and price quoted. The work was performed with minimal disruption to us and maximal attention to details, clean, and thorough. However, several days later the leak possibly originating from the area of the work performed was noted, with some damage to the ceiling on the lower level. Sal responded immediately, identified the leak and concluded that, even though it was not origination from exact point of original repair, the repair itself might have caused disruption in the system that resulted in new problem. Sal's representative, Mike, fixed the new plumbing problem and recommended another company, Razz Construction, to fix dry wall and ceiling damages, with the needed work to be paid for by Sal Manzo Plumbing. The said work was done perfectly. I would strongly recommend Sal Manzo Plumbing to anyone. They are professional, courteous, detail oriented, and stand by their work 100%. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, should I ever need any plumbing or heating work to be done. And with being an owner of a house, I don't think that the occasion will be long coming."

At 8:00 PM. He drove the 45 minutes to my house looked at my situation and assured me all would be well until a new water heater tank was installed. Ackeno was very professional, polite, and most of all honest when it came to what the cost would be, and what he needed to do. Within 24 hours my new tank was installed. The old one was very corroded and had served me well for the 12 years that I had it. No one wants to have to replace a hot water tank but if you do Ackeno and his team will make it the most worry, free, and pleasant experience possible.
