"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Contacted Appliance City and spoke with Allison regarding having a Frigidaire refrigerator looked at since it was making a loud buzzing sound. She advised it might be Monday since it was late Friday morning already but she would speak with the repairman. The repairman Ty called back and said he could be out in only a few hours and was there right when he said he would be and fixed the issue quickly and competently. Great service by all involved and the price was very reasonable for such great service. Highly recommend Appliance City!"

"The technician determined that the element went bad and replaced it. Very kind, courteous and professional. I would recommend them to anyone I know."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

"Terrible! I was charged almost 600.00 to “repair” my ice machine . This included an initial 110.00 diagnostic fee which he spend all of 5 mins to look under the fridge with a flashlight .Tim the owner has been to my house 3 times and It still isn’t working and he doesn’t know why. He does not guarantee work or back his service . Worst decision to use Coles appliance ever and biggest waste of $600.00. Lesson learned . ?"

"We replaced our old furnace with a new high efficiency furnace. Shawn came out and helped us figure what to get and gave us 4 options and estimates for each. We chose the third estimate. We set up the appointment, and set the date. Two men came to our home and did the job of removing our old furnace and AC and installing our new ones. It took 2 1/2 days to do the job and it turned out wonderful. The men were great to work with and did a terrific job. They were very polite and fun and answered all our questions. We have used Blairco for about 30+ years, and they come twice every year and do maintenance on our furnace and AC."

"The service tech repaired our Sub Zero drawer refrigerator and did a great job doing so, BUT. He gave us a verbal quote and stated the total cost without any itemization. When I got the invoice to see what the costs were, I was shocked. I assumed there were a lot of parts and the parts were the majority of the bill. I was wrong. The parts were few and the cost of labor equated to over $500 per hour. I called the company and spoke with a gal who stated the charges were correct and went on to say how this was all high end specialty work, to try to justify the extreme over-charges. She sent me a PSA flat rate PDF which she said they adhere to for charges. When I looked at it, it said the charges should have been $385 for two hours...not over $1000. I called Sub Zero to find other repair companies in Portland. There aren't any. All the other repair people I spoke with stated Sub Zero makes their parts so hard/impossible to get, so they don't service Sub Zero. I told the rep at Sub Zero if I knew then what I know now, I would have gone with any other brand that will allow many different repair people to fix them. The reason Appliance Hospital is so ridiculously expensive is that they are the only ones in town that can repair them--and they know this. If either of my Sub Zero appliances need repair in the future, I will instead rip them out and get any other brand. The bottom line: Don't buy Sub Zero appliances--they are very expensive from the start and even more-so to repair; and don't let Appliance Hospital repair anything--they over charge because they know they can get away with it."

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."
