"In our new house, there was a large (20ft by 25ft) bonus room that wasn't very useful. In early 2018, we wanted to convert it into a bedroom, a bathroom and a small study. We solicited quotes from three contractors, including Superior Building Concepts. When Stan arrived, he looked around, took some notes, asked a couple of questions, and left - the whole thing took 5-10min. We were wondering if he was really that interested in the project... but when the three quotes came in, his was in the middle, but was by far the most detailed, with everything broken up into line items. And, it was thought out better than the other two - in spite of him spending only 5-10min at the house. So, we signed up with Stan to get the work done. The work itself included framing for the new walls/doors, plumbing for the bathroom, installing tile, marble countertop, custom cabinetry, bathtub, new windows (for egress), insulation work, painting, new lighting etc. Multiple adjustments to the plan were made to accommodate our preferences - Stan was very flexible in changing the plan, gave us new adjusted quotes for everything. I've attached some pictures - two of them are of the original bonus room, and the rest are the bedroom/bathroom/study after the work was done. Overall, Stan's quiet competence, work ethic, honesty, flexibility and professionalism were incredible - this was the best contractor experience we've ever had. Since then, Stan has become our go-to general contractor for everything, and we've recommended him to family/friends ever since. (I'll write another review on the deck replacement Stan did.) We would recommend Stan for any contractor work without reservations."

In addition to work mentioned above, he removed deck boards close to house prior to demolition company, took down an old satellite dish and all cables, took down a child "climbing wall" in bedroom, took down old blinds from 5 windows, repaired the garden gate and other miscellaneous tasks. All areas were neatly calked. Projects took about two days. Cost $2,058.92"

"Hired in February did not start job until July, and then only because I started to push. They did a very unprofessional job that basically looked like this was the first roof they ever done. Took 3 guys 1 day. Having other roofers give estimates on what repair cost are as my roof now rolls and has pockets which will became 'ponds' on my house if it rains. Owner came and look and said it was good and the new was put over the old, then told me it was illegal for me to get estimates from other contractors.?.?.?
