"We hired Omni for a kitchen and bath remodel for an older 70s home. New cabinets, flooring and a wall demo turned a cramped, dated kitchen into a breath of fresh air. The work performed in our secondary bathroom also came out looking stellar. Very pleased with the results. There was a slight delay for the project due to certain material supply problems, but Omni was diligent in keeping us updated; good communication throughout. Would hire again."

"S & T replaced the section as promised. It looks great, water drains, and no worries about doing a faceplant in the driveway. Total cost was for labor and material, which worked out great."

"The project was large, total $136k+. Time to complete was bid at 3 months and it took 7+ with no urgency to complete on the contractors part. Watch the bids carefully, they will restructure them every time the update it which makes it difficult to follow the $. If you ok a bid then later find a math error, they will refuse to correct it. They will charge for things that they tell you repeatedly are included. The tile guy they use must not really be a tile guy. We have visible seams and very inconsistent grout lines. We had a huge demo with this project and they sent one demo guy to do it. The paint guy took 2+ months and after so much patching we had to insist on a complete second coat. Trash all the time everywhere for the entire 7 months. At one point the owner came by and apologized for the trash and said he would have it taken care of that afternoon. It took 3 days for that to happen. The project manager was rarely here and when he was it was never more than 15 min. Contractors were having to return multiple times because things were not done or done properly. He had my appliances delivered before he had outlets installed so they couldn't be tested. One of which did not work and had to be repaired via maintenance instead of replacing. They are nice guys and our house looks much better but the journey was tough and the quality poor. I could not recommend this company."

"I purchased a coupon for 4 hours of work through Angie's List. The provider showed up on time and completed the project without any issues. The interior door had been installed by someone with no carpentry experience and the provider was able to make the door look and function like new again. The coupon was well worth it and I will be contacting him in the future for our handyman needs."

"I am totally blown away by the professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness of this company!  A three-man crew showed up a half hour early and immediately set to work.  These three, Vern, Carl, and Steve, answered all of my questions and couldn't have been nicer.  They treated my home with respect, and something I expected to be stressful turned out to be a positive experience.  When they were finished, they immediately started putting my blinds and curtains back up, which was  a great service to me.  At the end of the job, my salesman, Dave, even showed up to make sure I was pleased.  Honestly!  These people made me feel like a queen and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to all of my friends.  I wouldn't go anywhere else for windows.  I feel that if I ever have any problems, they'd be there to make things right.  It's just that kind of company.  <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Louisburg, KS

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
