"Even though I have to buy a new range now, I have to say this service was a very pleasant experience. Forrest is simply great. He spent almost 2 hours trying to identify the mysterious behavior of this so-called professional and expensive "chef collection" range from Samsung that is full of electronics and obviously fails after 4 years. He found the possible root cause and the associated electronic part. The board and the labor for that repair would have been $520 and he said he would love to repair it but he cannot guarantee that the new board would fix the multiple problems. This "space engineered" range has five different boards (!) He recommended to take the loss and buy a new range. I listened to his advice. No more Samsung appliances for me. Oh, by the way, Forrest charged only $99 for 2 hours for the disassembly and reassembly necessary for the detective work. He easily could have attempted to try to fix the range and charge the $500 plus at a second visit with part in hand but instead he honestly said that he cannot guarantee a satisfactory result with that type of range. If anyone is looking for a trustworthy service - call Forrest."
