"The lady answering the phone sounded not very professional. There was excessive background noise from what sounded like a party. She took my basic info and anticipated having service to me in about half an hour. One hour later, I called for an update and got an answering machine. Asked for an update. Servicing plumber, Jonathan, called to say he was on the way. One hour later, I called his cell. He had been delayed by last work. Once he arrived, he quickly saw what needed to be done, went to Home Depot to get the parts, and quickly and professionally replaced both the hot and cold inlet pipes, as I asked. Very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Pricing was probably average, but was right on his estimate."

"I recently had a kitchen drain snaked by Top Contender drain specialist Inc. They did a great job. I've hired them numerous times over the years because I own an apartment building, they've done all kinds of work for me. They've done everything from jackhammering the cement to get out a bad pipe, to climbing on the roof to access the vent pipe, all types of repairs, they have consistently been excellent. When they work in apartments that are occupied by tenants I always get a happy response from the tenants because everything gets fixed right and they clean up their work after they're done. "I contacted them for a quote and they called me within 10 minutes. Explained what they would do and the cost. (I also had two other quotes, 1 company was a little more expensive, the other quoted long distance rate). We set the date and they explained the cancellation policy. Then everything was unloaded, we headed to a second location to drop off items and pick one up to return to the condo. Everything was moved without a dent, nick, chip or any breakage. They arranged furniture for me and put together things they had taken apart. They did the complete job in just 5 hours. I would absolutely hire this company again. I was very pleased with them."

He took the time to check out the issue and when he found out that it wasn;t a water line break, he recommended to have another professional services (-A/C) to have a look at it. He didn't push for doing any unnecessary repairs. He even explained to me how to find out if the source of the leak is coming from a water line, Most importantly, he respected the homeowner's cultural practice(s) by removing his shoes before going inside the house-BIG bonus points.
