It was definitely a 5 star experience. Matt seemed more like a partner than a contractorâ ¦he brought creative solutions and ideas to the project, was transparent with updates and showing off milestones as they were completed, and even went the extra mile to ensure quality (example: he insisted that siding be sent back because it did not quite match the rest of the house). He also hooked me up with a custom side door for my EV charger cord that is going to make charging outside so much easier. I will definitely be hitting him / Prestige up again in the future."

"We hired Pickford Contracting Services to remodel our basement, and we definitely made the right choice. Matthew and Donna are a class act. From the initial walkthrough of our unfinished basement to the day of completion, they went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with everything. From the get-go, we were impressed with Donnas organization, the response time (very fast!), and willingness to negotiate on prices. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with my barrage of questions. We always felt comfortable knowing she was working behind the scenes in making sure this project would be perfect. Matthew and his crew were just amazing. The work was completed quickly and to our exact specifications at a reasonable price. We could tell he takes pride in his work from his attention to detail -- making sure every little thing was done perfectly, down to the last door hinge and speck of paint. In the end, they transformed our musty unfinished basement into a sleek and welcoming office and entertainment space for us to enjoy. Looking at the before pictures, I honestly do not recognize our old basement! I would highly recommend them to anyone. SECOND PROJECT**** We were so happy with the recent basement to remodel Pickford Contracting Services did that we did not even consider anyone else when we decided to have our deck repaired and re-finished. Our deck had been rotting in places, missing stairs, and was badly in need of repair, and Matthew and crew did a fantastic job with everything. They finished the whole project very quickly, and our deck looks stunning. Donna gave us a great price and worked with us to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Having completed both a major and a minor project in our home, both of which we were thrilled with the results, we would highly recommend PCS to anyone."

"I am very impressed to deal with Emil . The work went very professional and fantastic eventhough not completely done 100% but I am sure will come beautiful more than we expected. Very seldom now to find someone honest and professional gives advice to save some money and less money for him. Emil is available seven days a week to answer any question or concern. All crew's working from bottom of their heart like this is their own house with using technology tools to do the Job. They painted the closet doors as a value add, even though it was not in the original quote. Mike was very responsive. They did a high quality job and as requested, completed the entire job within a week to accommodate our move-in date. His quote was very reasonable compared to the other quotes. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."
