I did that at a cost of over $600 in parts alone and the problem remained. We decided to live with it after spending that much, but it recently failed completely. Contacted Quick & Eazy Appliance Repair through HomeAdvisor and Josue called almost immediately to set up an appointment for the next day. He and JR came out and spent almost two hours diagnosing the problem. Turned out it a small internal fan wasn't working so they got a price and delivery for it and gave me a quote to replace it on the spot. The only part I wasn't completely comfortable with was having to pay for the entire repair - not just the part - up front before they would order the part. Turned out fine, but not what I've had to do with other service people. Anyway, the part came in sooner that expected and they came out two days later to put it in. Problem solved. After two years of frustration, I wish I had called Josue in the first place. I was an engineering manager and my team had to troubleshoot problems all over the world. I found that someone who can find the difficult problem is very rare and give Josue a lot of credit for his skill in finding this one."

"We contacted United Remodeling back in 2013 for a price quote on a roof deck we wanted installed above our unit. Junior was sent over from United and was warm, professional and on time. He got us a quote within the 48 hours he promised and the rate seemed fair compared to others we were getting. We narrowed the quotes down and decided to go with United.







We ran into a little entitlement issue with our neighbor who decided to sue us and the condo board for additional deck space so United was put on hold. We thought we had the issue put to bed in early 2014 so we had Junior come by once again to sign the contract. We paid our deposit, but then another neighbor issue came up and United was on hold yet again.







Flash forward to April 2015 and we were back in business. My point with the information above is that United stayed with us and supported us during the unnecessary lawsuit. A testament to their character. Alessandro (the owner) knew that this was going to be a tricky job given the sensitive nature of all things surrounding the 2 deeded roof spaces and was a consummate professional. He took on this project personally. His team took ultra care of the roof membrane, the flashing, the utility box and everything else that was on the roof during construction. The framing was installed in 5 days! The IPE tiles were in soon after and the wrought iron not terribly long after that. There were NO surprises or added cost with this job.







A member of his crew, Giovanni, used his mad carpentry skills to add stability to an extra long length of fencing to ensure safety and compliance with code.







We recommended United to several others who hired Alessandro and his team for other work in the South End. Our deck is awesome thanks to the diligence of his team. :)
