"The crawl space encapsulation they did on my new house is perfect. After 3 years, it's still dry & clean. Recently, the de-humidifier displayed an error message and quite operating. I contacted the company and within 2 days he had inspected the unit and we had a plan for a replacement at no cost to me. I have no idea how long the de-humidifier had been out of service before I noticed, but in the time it took to get the new unit installed, the crawl space stayed perfectly dry. "Piers shifted and foundation moved.  This has happened three times in 6 years.  They're willing enough to come do the warranty work, but will not commit to a date and show up when it suits them.  The folks that do come out to do the work are very polite and courteous, it's just a surprise when they arrive.  The primary problem is that their solution doesn't seem to work.  The piers collapse or fall over, and the foundation moves.  Indeed, it has collapsed again.
