One in particular, a 3/4 shower wall and opening the shower up to the ceiling in a tiny bathroom. It was simple but made a major difference in aesthetics as well as allowing the steam to dissipate quicker. We could not be happier. The tile work in both bathrooms is lovely and well done. Alvin and his crew were good at working clean. They used roll-out cardboard protection for our floors, hanging plastic sheeting to help keep dust down. They stayed on the job until it was done. It was a lot of work and we felt it was done within a reasonable time. Always have a final walk-through."

"I paid less than half of a bid I got from a company with lots of people and lots of overhead. And I am confident that my project was of comparable quality. Removed tub and put in a high-quality walk-in shower- ½” cultured marble wall panels, custom-made shelf, solid cultured marble drain pan with texture to prevent slipping, grab bars, high-quality double-sliding glass doors. I wish the project had taken three days instead of four but that is my only complaint. Jay and his assistant did a good job. He had some good money-saving suggestions and was easy to work with. He matched the swirls on the wall panels (including the indented shelf!) and made the shower walls flow together. Great job!"

He understood what we wanted, commenting "I see you know just what you want" and gave us his estimate quickly. Each "crew" he had out, pouring the foundation, framing, bricklaying, and finishing, did their job in a professional manner. I know enough to know they were all experts in their fields. A couple of misunderstandings about what we wanted with the workers were corrected by Roy right away. "Trend built the majority of the bookcase shelves off site, but installed and did fancy cut work trim on site.  The quality of work was astounding.  During the installation, I had family come visit from out of town and Trend blocked off the work area with plastic and waited until my visitors left to come back to finish.  My grandson is very allergic to the sawdust and stain which is why Trend was cooperative and delayed finishing the work.  When the family left, I called and Trend came back to finish.  The book case is made out of knotty alder wood stained mahogany with special larger shelves at center top for displaying art work.  Everyone who visits our house remark how beautiful the bookcase is and what striking focal point in the living room. <br /> I had used Trend to build a staircase in a previous house some years ago.  The quality of work was again outstanding which is why we continue to use Trend for interior work in out house. <br />"
