"After receiving three bids, we decided to work with Brad and Lauri of Carpentry Plus and we are so glad we did. The remodel was comprised of about 2/3 of our downstairs space including the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, 1/2 bath and the adjoining hallway, plus the flooring in our foyer and sunporch. We were extremely happy with the quality of their work, the consistent professionalism and thoughtful care and advice as we worked through a complex project. The work included removal of walls, reworking air runs, lots of wood working including matching colors, installing new cabinets and countertops, new flooring, paint, electrical, plumbing and new windows. Our old banister was a mess, and Gary came to my house, gave me some great advice on how to proceed with the project, immediately turned around with a reasonable quote, and was able to start work the following week. "I contacted Closet + Room Solutions via their Web site.    Beth, the designer, contacted me by e-mail within a day or so, and we scheduled an in-home consultation within a week.  Beth arrived on time, measured my closets, talked to me about what I wanted, and sat down right there with her laptop to produce designs for the space.  She showed me the designs, and we discussed and altered them  in accordance with my preferences.  <br /> <br /> After the in-home consultation, Beth e-mailed me the designs and a contract.  We met on a Friday afternoon, and she sent me the materials on the following Monday.  I had a second estimate with another company set for Tuesday, so I delayed a decision.  Beth contacted me once to see if I had any questions. I did, and she answered them immediately. <br /> <br /> I decided, based on both design and price, to hire Closet + Room Solutions.  They scheduled the installation within a week of the time I made the decision. <br /> <br /> The gentleman who did the installation arrived on time and performed the services exactly as I hoped he would.  He removed the existing closet fixtures and installed the new ones, including a closet door for one of the closets.  He also took away all the building materials he had removed from the closets, and said that Closet and Room Solutions could have the materials recycled. <br /> <br /> The work was performed well, in a timely fashion, and exactly in accordance with the contract.  <br /> <br /> I paid half of the cost up front (when I signed the contract), and half upon installation of the closets. <br /> <br /> This was a very satisfactory experience. I recommend Closet + Room Solutions, and I would use them again if I decide to have more work done."

"We were looking for an auto transporter to transfer an older (not classic) car from Virginia to Nevada. We did our due diligence and researched the potential companies that could complete the task in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Three providers were interviewed and quotes were obtained and, interestingly, we found that there was considerable differences in the information that was given and the commitments that were made. We delayed contacting Auto Transporters Online for over a week, cutting into "our timeline" significantly as the expense for the transport had three tiers of cost options, even though the lowest tier was comparable to the competitors. From the reviews read, Auto Transporters Online was a smaller company and there were less reviews posted on Angie's List and BBB. As it turned out, we should have gone with the initial "gut instinct" from the beginning and chosen Auto Transporters Online and saved ourselves from the resulting stress. This may be a small company in comparison to others, but this company offers a personalized touch and pride in a job well done, offering a true customer service model.  <br /> Our situation was apparently somewhat unique in that we wanted to ship the car from Virginia and have it arrive in Nevada at the same time (or a day or two later) that we arrived in Nevada (driving a second car). We were relocating and did not have a designated person to ship the car from Virginia or receive the car in Nevada other than ourselves so the timeline of travel was our limiting factor. The week of research (and frustration) had us at wit's end and ready to call it quits and look for an alternative method of getting both cars to Nevada.  <br /> Dave Miller was contacted by phone on the evening of May 11th and reacquainted him with our situation and the quote that he had provided over a week before and options available were discussed in detail. Dave was understanding of the situation and told us what he could and could not accomplish. He was personable, courteous and professional. We made the commitment and forwarded the paperwork to him that evening. By the time, we awoke and checked email the next morning, Dave had a potential driver that could pick the car up on the 12th (that day) and deliver it to Nevada within the time period desired with a 2 day flexible window. This was perfect! <br /> The car was prepared and picked up on the 12th of May from Virginia and delivered the 20th in Northern Nevada. There were no issues upon delivery. Contact with the driver and Dave Miller occurred throughout the 9 day period, either by phone or by email. <br /> We are very happy with the service provided by Auto Transporters Online and would not hesitate to contact them again. Dave Miller is trustworthy, personable, committed and professional. He provided exemplary customer service at a time when customer service is a misunderstood concept and delivered by very few. "<p>We contacted Terin Wales on May 2014 and he was there within hours to see what we wanted done on our cabin. The next week, Memorial Day Weekend he contacted us to show us an estimate for a 24 x 28 garage. My husband told him we would like it done by the fourth of July and Terin said all things considered he would try, cement had to be poured, weather conditions, whatever is under the ground in this heavily wooded area....Long story short the cement held up the project by a few days as the were tons of rocks and tree roots that had to be removed...along with that and his other jobs he and his crew kept in touch with us throughout the project as we were only there a couple of weekends. He did an excellent job matching the existing shingle on the end where he added the garage (we built the cabin over several years and didn't match as well). </p> <p>We were so impressed with the courtesy and professionalism not to mention attention to detail, that we hired him and his crew to build a roof over the entire rest of the cabin. We had an addition that had a shallow pitch to the roof over it and wanted to have a steeper pitch. We contacted Terin again in May for the job to be done by the 4th. Each rafter goes from the peak to the front wall with supports to keep the weight even throughout. They did an excellent job again finishing a week early. This job included matching the T-11 siding grooves down to a millimeter. We happened to be there when they were finishing up one day and they pick up everything....any nails on the ground any scrap of wood. We would highly recommend Terin and his guys as they do a great job.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I have the most beautiful kitchen by Custom Creations. I designed the kitchen and we worked out together on how to design the cabinets. He is so good. My contractor estimated what he thought it should have cost and he came down right at the money so I imagine that it was what it was, it was fair. His punctuality was very good considering he lives in Traverse City and we live down here. He's honest, very kind and you can trust him in your home. He's also very friendly. I enjoyed having him in my home."
