When I told Stan my vision, he found the blocks I had envisioned (other companies told me what they would use and it wasn't what I wanted), when I changed the design a little, asked all kinds of questions and wanted an extra layer of block put on, everyone went with the flow. It felt like there was nothing else that mattered besides making my job and my needs top priority. I really appreciated the men keeping the area clean and I got a kick out of hearing "a clean work site is a happy work site". The wall not only looks great but having seen the accuracy, care and professionalism with which it was built, I'm sure it will last for decades. Not only would I highly recommend Stan and his crew, but so would several of my neighbors who appreiciated their workmanship, courtesy, and professionalism. I should mention that Stan's estimate was competitive and I appreciated knowing up front what any changes would cost.

"Snow and rain delayed the work by weeks, and like other service providers working outdoors during this remarkable spring of crazy weather, Dakota Landscape & Design got behind in scheduling and doing projects. When Josh and one of his workers finally came with the plants, both the plants and the work were terrific. The plants are healthy and attractive, and Josh and the other worker did an excellent job with the planting (taking care not to damage plants already in my yard) and were exceptionally patient as I figured out where I wanted each plant. In other words, both actual visits could not have been better. The delays, backlog, and communication between the two visits might have been better.

"purchased a big deal for landscape plan and quote in May, 2014.  Multiple attempts (phone calls) to get someone out to complete the review of project.  Once they responded, very prompt but too late in season to begin project.  Quote and plan was provided.

"They did a beautiful job and their work turned out very nicely. Their landscaping is A-1. Their lawn service, I had a couple problems with. I'm not sure I will renew that work with them. I had eight solar lights around my deck and over the course of the summer, three were broken. Two of those were replaced by the company, however the replacement didn't work. They mowed whether it was wet or not and tore up my yard quite a bit. I didn't see any consequence to weed prevention. My neighbors creepy charlie is still moving in my yard. Overall though, they are very friendly, nice, and extremely polite."

"Estimator came and described the fence options.  Competitive pricing for privacy fence.  Contractors completed work per schedule.  After fence was put up cracks appeared in multiple locations and bowing of fence walls created gaps in this new privacy fence. 
Owner came over and observed situation in a few days after contact for these issues, said $100 extra for labor to remove bowed fence walls that were creating gaps.  Not sure why they include this option up front or they could have let me know they were giving me a cheaper option up front (not sure why they would even offer) and then let me know this would have been needed anyways for true quality privacy.  Repair work was done promptly.  IMO its a good price, quality experience was a bit meh, but they give 5yr warranty on parts/workmanship so they'll come back and fix it up in a prompt manner either way.
