"They were helpful. Apparently my computer was working very slowly and after they went through their diagnostics, I think it was a remote, I think it worked a little better but it didn't quite work as well as I was hoping. I'm not going to say it's their fault or something else is going on in the computer. I don't use that computer much anymore but I don't necessarily blame them or if there are some more issues with our computer. They did tell me that what they can do remotely is limited and they have to take it in somewhere to get more done. They were pretty upfront about that. The price was fair. They responded within that day. The end result didn't meet my needs."

"After having had a variety of problems, my laptop finally completely crashed. I contacted Dan at Tech Guru and he was IMMEDIATELY available to help me our of my panic (this is my work computer and I really needed it working or I wouldn't make money). When it became evident that my computer couldn't be repaired, Dan very patiently went through my options and answered any questions I had. I finally decided to purchase a Dell laptop through Tech Guru (they got a better price on it than I could on my own). Dan set me up with a loaner laptop on the spot and loaded all of the stuff I needed. Dan then asked whether he could have Colin work with me on the new computer stuff and I said yes. Colin began right away by helping me when I had questions about the loaner laptop. He was extremely responsive, provided great explanations and even worked on evenings and weekends to help make sure I had everything I needed without interrupting my work day. Once my new computer arrived, Colin immediately contacted me to let me know and lickety-split got it up and running and delivered it to me. He made very sure I was satisfied (and since he managed to recover all of the information off of my old computer and looking exactly like it looked before - I WAS EXTREMELY SATISFIED!). I am extremely happy with my new laptop and all of the great service. It is worth noting that I had used Tech Guru before on a couple of occassions and was happy with their service. I had never faced a problem quite as dramatic as this though and was really in a panic. Since Dan recognized that I had hired Tech Guru before, he asked whether I would be interested in Tech Guru's "Enlighted IT Service." It was not a hard sales pitch (thank goodness!). Dan explained that the Enlightened IT Service would allow me to pay a set price per month (basically a retainer) and then Tech Guru would be able to help me with any computer problem I have (rather than paying an hourly rate). The price was super reasonable and I signed up. The Enlightened IT Service has already paid for itself as I've found myself with a few different questions having to do with my quickbooks and Colin was able to help me out remotely. I'm no longer seeing dollar signs every time I need computer help! And the response time is incredible - as though I have my own in-house computer people. I am extremely happy with this company. They've helped make sure my company keeps working. I do not imagine anything that will get me to change to another provider since I just keep having great experiences with them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"

"After his analysis, he did not charge me anything, but sent me to another laptop repair person whom he knew and trusted, a guy named Brian with Laptop Repair in Denver. That person continued with the repairs and Mark picked up the computer, brought it again to me and checked it out in my apartment. He found some problems that he said would take more time to fix, some that I was not aware of, took the computer to his home for further correction of problems he had discovered. When he brought the computer back to me, it worked well, and he had added Skype, Windows Word, and Norton Security Suite, free of charge! I know Windows is about $100 itself! He even allowed me to make payments since he knew my only income was from Social Security. I am a registered nurse and plan to get back into nursing, since I have had both shoulders replaced and am now ready to work. I felt I could trust Mark, and I will call him again if I ever need another repair! He was patient about answering my questions and had me watch as he worked on the computer.
