Get matched with top landscape minor grading or resloping pros in Mar-vista, CA

"My wife and I have hired RainforestLA for four separate landscaping and design projects (turf, fence, concrete, stepping stones, etc.) and are always amazed with the final product. They do amazing quality work that lasts year after year. We could not recommend them more and look forward to hiring them again."

"I have been pleased with their professionalism and ability to get the job done. There was a small snag but the recovery was great. Mr. Moore is very patient and accomodating with the customer. Marcus, his son who is second in command keeps things moving. My neighbor is now hired them for their landscaping."

"This review for Regal Construction is overdue but I can recommend this company with more confidence now since I have never seen a construction company (or any companies) stands by their work beyond the scope of the agreement. My husband and I have experienced six contractors since 1998 for remodeling and landscaping of our homes. Being matched with a reliable, competent and civilized contractor seems to require more than online research; Rather, you need a luck equivalent to the chance of jackpot in Vegas. For our current home, we planned the remodeling of the entire downstairs which included kitchen, family room, living room, powder room, laundry room, gym and bathroom. After interviewing several contractors very, very carefully (since we had a contractor from **** in 2016), we decided to work with The Regal; Sean and Shaul. They were very precise with the budget and timeline while explaining each phase of work in detail; nothing too extravagant or too cheap to achieve. We started in March 2020 and finished the project by June as they promised. Most importantly within the budget and timeline plus some extra improvement of the house thanks to their recommendation that eventually saved us a lot of energy and money. I am not saying that the entire experience was as smooth and rosy as it may sound like; There were some moments of tension and questions on the way like any remodeling projects would create. But all within my realistic expectations and any issues were quickly resolved with the sincerity and efforts of Sean and Shaul. They are such civilized professionals that communication was the best part of the whole project (very rare in the field of construction). My husband and I are professionals so dealing with people who are deceiving or irrational has been the most challenging task along with our aging brains. The project manager Shaul was a god sent and he made the whole experience quite comfortable and sane. Also, all their workers were polite, clean and hard-working (again very rare). I have waited to write a review more than two years because I wanted to see how their warranty service would work out. It was beyond my picky expectations! They are highly responsible for their job and extremely prompt, sincere and efficient with any issues related to their work (they don't seem to care about expenses to make sure all is in a great working condition). We are done with our home renovation but we will definitely recommend The Regal to our children or friends with great confidence. It was a good match after all! :)"

"Could not be more pleased with our experience with TheDrainCo. Mark (owner's husband) came out and completed the job within a couple hours of my initial call. Problem turned out to be a worn/split hose from the washer which was leaking out onto the floor, but he also augured (?) out the outside drain pipe, and fixed an unrelated minor issue on a nearby bathroom faucet."

"The first guy came over and took pictures on an ipad and gave an estimate. I have tile on the first portion of the roof and then the rest is a graded flat roof. He entered the roof from the front meaning he walked on the tiles. After the repairs we completed, we had another big storm and the roof leaked where the tiles were. I later learned you are not supposed to walk on tile. I think he may have disturbed something causing the new leak. He was professional and explained all of the costs, showed me photos. The actual repair person came while I was at work and did the repairs. He sent pictures of all of the completed work. The leak that I called for repair was repaired and never leaked again. He cleaned up the roof as well. I was happy with this. I tried contacting them again but never received a reply. Overall, they got the job done but I believe more care should be taken on a tile roof. I think they should be more responsive to emails because I would have used them again. They were responsive to the initial scheduling and consultation but after that, I could not get a reply."

"Original estimate and proposal was handled in professional manner. Everything was fully explained and there was no pressure or "snow job". Everything was itemized and put in writing. The "free" hot water heater was not needed so received a credit of $1300.
The five man crew arrived on schedule and got to work immediately.  Met with supervisor Mark and foreman Jose and reviewed job.
The crew laid down tarps for dirt control (looked good at first, but wasn't that effective. Attic insulation was still tracked in house  They did attempt to vacuum everything up.)
Crew didn't have a ladder so they used mine. No big deal.
They all worked really hard and there was no loafing around. Had the walls opened and new pipe laid out and ready to go the first day. They didn't hesitate in working late. Made the ordeal of having to have a re-pipe bearable. It was great to still have water all day and that night.
The crew were very polite and friendly and we enjoyed their presence.
They really appreciated the free lunch we gave them and helped cement our relationship. They all deserved a "Gold Star" for their outstanding work.
The next day layout was completed, old pipe removed and new tied in. New piping was flushed and  pressure tested. No leaks.
As a former building inspector, I was very impressed by their professionalism, work ethics and attitude. It's very rare to have someone "do it right the first time".The following day the drywall came and repaired all the walls that had been demo'd. Outstanding job.
 Only a few negatives:
Cleanup.
Attic insulation that had been pushed aside was not put back.(still not done)
They also missed some shock absorbers which the building inspector caught. Jose came back the next day and took care of the them.  Bathroom exhaust fan had been stepped on and pushed down below the ceiling. Drywall man attempted repairs. OK..
Piping could have been flushed a little longer to get all debris out. Minor.
Overall I am very pleased with the work. Price was a big OUCH!
UPDATE!
It has been several months now and I find the installation was not as great as I thought.  Rather than moving the ceiling insulation, they installed the pipes on the roof rafters. Pipe insulation inadequate; water too cold in winter and scalding hot in summer. Don't let them take short cut!

"The plumbing technician called before he came and his demeanor was professional and friendly. He advised us what he was doing while he was working, He made sure he did not get any dirt on our carpet or floor. We would gladly have him back to do work for us again."

"Daniel Dachot was the Field Supervisor and point of contact. He was attentive, always available, and kept us up to date on what to expect. The masons who did the work were highly skilled and careful. The result was very nice. All the work was for hardscape - no landscaping or planting was involved."

"Yoav is the owner and he took me through the whole process and explained budgets and timelines with tons of patience. He wanted me to be happy. Once the project got started, he was on site constantly and totally made me feel like I mattered, even though I knew he had other projects going on. The finished project was incredible. The house breathes in ways I never imagined and the flow is amazing. Turns out he went above and beyond, too. He painted the house, put in better-quality windows, and even advised on landscaping ideas. And he did it all on budget. HIRE THIS MAN!"
