"I’m very happy and highly recommend JP Construction after they replaced my 50 year old siding with Hardie siding for the whole house. After the new siding was painted, the exterior looks like a new construction home. From the initial meeting with Jon, thru the construction process with Mike and Aleks and his crew, and the final walkthrough I feel that my all concerns were addressed. You can tell they really care about their work and check every detail. There was a significant delay because a winter storm hit in the middle of construction, but I was amazed at how well just the new insulation and wrap held up for a week before work was able to resume. I couldn’t be happier knowing that work and the material will last a lifetime."

Small jobs welcome

"John did a great and professional job fixing buckled floorboards and damaged trim after it was mis-installed by the feckless contractors. He is also a throughly nice guy, who we enjoyed having here while he completed the work."

"We used Titan Siding and Windows to replace 9 windows, sliding glass doors, and all of the siding on the back of our house. If I'd known what an impact new windows would make, I would have done this much sooner. I feel like I moved into a newer, nicer home- it's significantly quieter, warmer, and cleaner. What a difference! I got several bids from the top 3 companies on Yelp in Austin and Titan was hands down the most responsive and gave us the best rate. Joel came out immediately gave us great advice on which windows and siding styles were the best option for us and helped us choose colors. Steve the window contact and Steve the siding contact always, always, always showed up when they said they would and I felt completely comfortable having them in the house with their crews. The guys worked so hard and knocked out both our windows and siding in record time. They were also really considerate about small details like making sure the gate was closed when they left each day so that our dog couldn't get out and cleaning up debris and dirt as the job progressed. Also, Mike the owner- what a great guy! He meticulously inspected the install of all windows, sliding doors, and siding. It's pretty cool to meet someone who takes such pride in his company. I would absolutely work with Titan again. As soon as we're ready to tackle the siding in the front of the house, we will be giving them a call."

"I'm not real pleased with them. I kind of given up on them. It has been an ongoing problem for a long time and it's been difficult aligning a time for them to come and visit. The last time I finally got something lined up I had to cancel. I gave up them. I am just going to have to live with the doors that they gave me.
I know that the new doors are more secure than the ones I had before and security was an issue for me. The doors don't really work right. You have to pull pretty hard to get it to open. You should just turn the knob and have it swing open but you don't, you have to give it a jerk to get it off of that sweep, or at least where the sweep is contacting the threshold of the door.
I was trying to buy really good door. I bought a storm door for the front and these French doors for the back. The storm door for the front didn't really sit right. It had a 4 inch gap between it and the threshold and he had to go and find something to fill it but it doesn't seal in anyway at the bottom so it isn't much of a storm door. It has a special glass in it that is very hard to break and it has keys to it but I don't have the keys to it and I don't know how to go about getting keys for it. I have been able to use it for security. Right now it is more of a nusence because when you go in and out, it springs closed faster than you want it to and it ends up hitting your ankles. They either installed a poor process for a lot of money or charged me too much to install.
The owner is a really nice guy. He comes across town and through traffic. He tried to be very helpful. The guy that works for him installing which seemed to be a really thorough type. I got to the point that they had come out so many times for so many different things. I would call and leave messages and they wouldn't get back to me promptly. I really complained to me and told them that I was tired of waiting on them and they started paying more attention to me like they were really going to make things right. It has just been complicated and I don't want to take time off of work to do something like that.
Update: 9/20/2014
Ray, the owner, came out and made everything right. The product he sells does not have very good service, but Ray stayed on yhem and finally got the replacement parts that made everything work."

"

After a storm blew 10-12 pieces of siding off my house, i called 3 contractors to get estimates.  My house is 2 stories and the damage was on the upper half of one side.  Evan Hernandez of K & E Painting and Siding came to the house and gave me an estimate the same day I called him.  After 3 days and 2 more estimates, I decided to go with Evan and have him paint the entire house, not just the side with the damage.  I didn't call Evan until 9 at night as I was waiting to hear from another contractor.  Even though he got late notice from me, Evan started the project the next morning at 7:30 A.M.  He brought me a contract that morning and said I didn't have to pay him anything until the job was done.  I was not actually at home when the most of the work was done, but I inspected it thoroughly before I paid him.  In 3 days he completed the following:   replaced the siding; pressure washed the house, caulked all window and door trim, corners and small cracks; painted the house, including contrasting trim.  Evan provided all materials.  He covered the windows and doors with plastic. I was pleased that he used Sherwin Williams paint as i feel it is high quality paint, and that is why I use if for all my interior and furniture painting.  I have done a lot of painting over the years and consider myself pretty fussy.  I am very pleased with the paint job - I did not see drips on the lower brick part of the house, any windows or doors, or on the grass.  I did not see any messy or uneven cut-in lines.  There was no debris left anywhere. Besides doing good work, Evan is polite and friendly. I would definitely hire Evan again.

"Started the process of looking for a contractor which is never fun. I knew I was heading towards problems with finding someone who can get the job done within my time frame and on budget. I am an engineer so I demand exacting work. I live in a mobile home so you should understand the challenges there. I wish I could say the house was square and plumb unfortunately it was not. There was rotted skirting, leaking damaged windows and extensive carpentry required. Mr Baker had his his work cut out for him. Upon meeting with him He listened to all the details which were negotited well. I was immediately sold on Mr Bakers up front, no nonsense, warm personality. And You will be comforted by his attention and knowledge of the work requested. If he was able to keep me from being overly concerned you should have little difficulty. He introduced me to all the people working on the job. They had more than 15 years of carpentry experience. Most with direct siding knoqledge. This was a huge selling point for me. As I reviewed the work each day he would accept my calls anytime and we would work together on any changes and issues which would arise. Who is that prompt any more?? He handled the crew well and I felt confident of those chosen to perform work on the property. I am sure you can imagine working with someone who thinks they know it all when they do not. We can be difficult. Alex explains the process very well. Covering the process thoroughly and explainwd in-depth when required. I am very grateful to have had Alex Baker be apart of my remodeling project which included Hardie products top to bottom and new double pane windows and new doors hung. Painted with 3 colors all around from the skirt to the eaves. Where i live i get very little sun so moisure and water is an extreme problem near the lake. All costs were inline with what I would expect and install knowledge excellent! Since the outcome was perfect I do not believe I could have hired anyone better or as professional as Alex Baker. He is fair without a fault and will continue to have my business. When you are reviewing some of his last projects ask about a mobilehome in Lago Vista. He will know what you are talking about. Great example of work performed."
