"I am so grateful for Terry and T5T Contracting. From the moment I met Terry, I knew he was the real deal—down-to-earth, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. His family has been in the business for years, and it’s clear he understands what homeowners need during a renovation. Terry is prompt and timely in his communications, and he showed incredible patience and kindness throughout the process. Living in a home during a renovation is not for the faint of heart, and inevitably, challenges come up. What stood out to me is how Terry always addressed concerns quickly and thoroughly, correcting any issues with professionalism and care. The subcontractors that T5T works with are also excellent. Every single person who came into my home arrived on time, was fully prepared, respectful of my home, and delivered truly outstanding work. That level of consistency gave me so much peace of mind during what could have been a stressful process. "

"I am taking the opportunity to express my gratitude and thanks to Allan and his team (Tom, Mike, Jerry and all others) who preformed work in my home after flooding damage resulted from a broken water line caused by the 2020 TX winter storm. Allan and his group were super responsive, knowledgeable, skilled and made the experience a positive one. They were all extremely professional and courteous (cleaned up in all areas they worked in) and efficient throughout the entire process. Prices were fair and reasonable! No need to look any further! I highly endorse Allan and team @ AC Cornerstone Building for a job well done!"

"Handyman Carpentry came through for me and my family! Our door was kicked in and I needed to feel safe immediately. Mr. Kevin came through with a fast response, and great work. He kept in contact throughout the entire time! Reasonable and fair pricing. This was an emergency for me and Mr. Kevin and his squad came through. We will definitely be calling on him again for more carpentry and home improvement jobs! Thank you and I pray nothing but growth and success for you and your business!!"

"I worked with Marcos Hernandez from Stain it/Everest Paint and Construction to build and professionally finish a 2-story deck for the entrance of a duplex. He was able to work within my budget, and got all the work done, to code, and according to a very specific specification I wrote up (they even recommended some substitution and corrections where needed). Additionally, this might be the most honest contractor ive ever worked with - I accidentally overpaid, and he caught the error and offered to refund or rebate me on another project. Of course, I was very happy to accept a rebate on another project because I wanted to continue working with this company."

"We had a simple plat process where we split one property into 2. We relied on A-1 to provide the service. Not only did it take 24 months to complete (yes you read that correctly), but we had to hound the team to get it done. Some of the delays were basic. Hays County had a checklist of requirements for electronic files, it took multiple rounds to get these corrected and added to the delay. That delay, because of price inflation, has cost me more than $12,000 in additional costs for septic components. Would not recommend, not even to my ex-wife."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Marble Falls, TX

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
